PTS Enclosure Pricing
I use the same targeted port velocity and directed airflow in all the ported enclosures the port / sub placement will change the output in different enviroments but they have about the same tonality "depending on tuning frequency" with exeption of the Horn Loaded enclosures...they tend to have their own sound and characteristics I'll be doing some web site changes in the new year showing different styles of enclosures

the ICONS I used in my Video are 10" not 12"....... I bet I could get at the min another 6db in the 20hz range with a pair of 12's with a pair of 15" ICONS a person could make themselves puke with the low notes if done right if you are looking for the easter bunny he doesn't exist...if you want loud lows you have to work for it (get dirty and do some experimenting) cause your not gonna just drop in a WONDER SUB and hit super high numbers on the low stuff- steve meades speaker wire
you can get them in gold plated for speaker wire but I'm to lazy to look any further....LOL http://www.darvex.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Sc...Product_Count=1- A pillar location Not just for tweets
I tried my tweeters in the wave guides in the pillar but because of the windsheild I couldn't get them to tuck out of the way or turn them in.....I kept them like this for a very short time the in your face thing was really IN YOUR FACE I tried several different places and I ended up keeping them like this still have alot of work to do on the interior but it sounds absolutley amazing- >30mm Xmax <20Hz Fs D2 15's
more excursion does not always mean louder......I have seen some high excursion subs get slayed from subs with less on the Termlab it's not always about the subs specks...the install has 80% to do with the subs performance- PTS Enclosure Pricing

this is just awsome man...you have a BIG hart- dCON prototypes are arriving today (Video page 3)
LOL.......that's some decent output to rattle the roof like that- dCON prototypes are arriving today (Video page 3)
Very Nice Mark :bigclap: I'm looking forward to trying these puppies out- A pillar location Not just for tweets
I have done mids in the pillar.... with a mid or tweet blaring in your face the stage will sound one sided... just make shure they are turned in towards the center of the vehicle so you listen to them off phase- dCON prototypes are arriving today (Video page 3)
LMAO....- six 10's or one 21?
The reason why Rock Concerts 18's are so controlled is because they are powered by ballanced current servo's ,installed in the correct cabinets and the lack of voltage drop...almost perfect conditions I'm not saying an 18" isn't fast ...there is a noticable sound difference between a large woofer vs several small when they are both installed properly- six 10's or one 21?
Are you joking? Since when did big woofers need to be fast? I liked large woofers when I was younger but having multiple 10" is much snappier and less boomy although large woofers do have vision blurring and gut wrenching output- six 10's or one 21?
the 21"...I mean the BIG SLOW would have only a fraction of the SQ that multiple 10" would provide....- Logo Design Contest
your Logo is very versitile.....I have 1,000 Idea's that I can do with the fist- first impression of the Icons :)
I really like the Icons also.....I had them sitting on the shelf for about 3 months thinking my W10gti subs were all that and a bag of chips...when I finally got the Icons installed I was blown away and wondered why I didn't switch sooner by next summer I will have everyone here hooked on SSA- The Low Canadian Dollar
I hear you there.....I get raped when I order from the US- SSA Icon 15
based from my experience with the Icons they can take well over their rated rms with a CLEAN signal just be carefull that you do not over power it to hard and hit the limitations of the suspension (as with any sub)- Has anyone had a single icon metered?
very average for a single 15"..we have a single 15" DD here that hits 148db in a Dodge Neon and I have a single 12" Alpine Type R that does 143.6db at 34hz but it's not at all impressive compared to a pair of 10" hitting 139-140 in the 20hz range if set up right a single 15" could get louder than 139db at 20hz- Has anyone had a single icon metered?
I like this Video better..... doors and windows sealed engine off and meter in the exact same spot with an enclosure tuned at 31hz the next numbers will be higher...I am now running about 2x the power and adding another 10"- Kicker 12" L5 hatchback enclosure
