  1. I have for sale a lightly used Sundown 3000d amp, for $550 + shipping with a few scuff marks. I also have a working 15" Xcon for $240 + shipping. Then I have another Xcon in need of a recone due to physical damages to cone/gasket during a move $125 + shipping. Also a custom box was built for the two 15"s dimensions are 44"L x 19"H x 24"D looking for pick up for $100 obo. I am located near Daytona Beach, Florida. Not looking for trades just cash. Message me for more details. Sorry if the pictures are blown up, the post uploading for images was not working for me.
  2. I am in la la land, what about you? I am in hell at the moment, waiting to get my xcon back in the car
  3. Thanks for the quick responses. Also, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Denim!
  4. I am trying to get my 15" xcon reconed, whats the best email to get a hold of SSA? Thanks for any input!
  5. I've always wondered how you figure all that out. Is there a formula you use. I know how to calculate the volume but how do you figure out the tuning. Any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks
  6. tommorrow ill try to hook up a speaker to the head unit. Hopefully i can figure this out
  7. My friend is installing his eclipse avn52d headunit in his 05 hyundai sonata. I've had a little more experience with it so I was helping him. We got everything squared away and now came time to turn on the car and test it. The headunit came on but there was no sound coming out of the speakers. I double checked wiring. Still nothing. Went to the biggest audio shop around town and they told me to check a few things and I did that still nothing. They said the car might have a factory amp and that is why the speakers arn't working because the amp isn't see power, which made sense but when I did what they told me it didn't work. I am trying to search the internet and see if anyone has had this problem. I decided to post here since I get the best feed back and a lot of people are helpful. Any input is really appreciated. Thanks
  8. thank u so much. I checked every fuse under the hood but totally forgot about the panel in the car. looked at the manual. #3 stereo....blown put in the one from the moonroof (which i do not have haha) and finally got it all put back together. 9. it is an 03 ford explorer. Yea i turned on the ignition and no spark from the wire. I have been trying to find which fuse it is but searching is taking me in other direcftions.
  10. i really appreciate u working with me. no spark from the yellow wire. I also looked in my manual but could not find a stereo fuse.
  11. is there any simple way i could test it? or would i need a tool of some sort.
  12. I was just installing my pioneer avh 4200 and while i was pushing the headunit in my yellow wire came undone and must have grounded because the unit shut off. When I connected the yellows back together the unit would not turn on. But once I touch the yellow with a constant 12v connection it turns on. Is there a way i can fix my yellow wire or would i have to tap into another wire? Everytime I turn off the unit it will reset because the yellow wire isn't working. BTW it is an explorer 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  13. yea they are DVC the speaker works only if hooked up to each voice coil seperately.
