1989 Honda CRX Dx well i pretty much stole this car from this lady that was selling it. The car is pretty much flawless inside and out for an 89. has no rust and 214,000 miles. had to get an automatic for the wife. bought this car because the price of gas and my escalade gets 16mpg max on the interstate. well i purchased this car for $1100 from a lady in chicago today. i found it on craiglist and luckily i found it when i did cuz i instantly emailed her and told her i had cash in hand and would pick it up this weekend because she said she had ALOT of people asking about it because she was only asking $1200. i even talked her down $100. WOOT!! sorry bout the pics but they are random sizes and qualities. the vehicle on its way to its NEW HOME!! cellphone zoom = small pics for some reason.

well the podium is on its way to being completed. still has work to be done. adding 2 stinger volt meters. 1 for 12v and 1 for 16v. thank the man who im letting run the van for the rest of the season till i get home for building the podium. hes very good at his work for some reason i trust him enough to send him hundreds of dollars worth of stuff to put together a podium and let him run my thousands of dollars worth of car audio equipment in my van haha. i figured it would be better than letting the van sit while i was away. i joined team sundown before i left and got a killer deal and i didnt want to fudge the company out of anything by not following through with what i promised. but heres the beggining of the podium

eventually im gonna do copper bar jumpers in the rear. right now this will do since i only have 3 3000d's

hmmmmm cell phone pics thats my 2400 thats gonna run my 100.4 and my van. have a stepdown that charges it when my alternator is hooked to the 16v bank.

so yah time to put new shocks on the van. been riding on springs since i had it. can kinda tell lol. can definetly tell it has been time for new shocks. rear shocks were actually broken off and just hanging. OH and my friends got jokes!

very small update. had so much expanding foam between the side door and the box that it pushed it out about 3/4". so had to dig some of the foam out and pound the door back in and tack weld it. it will be fully welded and filled over so it will look like the door was never there. peal n sealed the floor and gettin ready to get the other 5 batteries in the back.

i voted 5k cuz it will be a little more practical for a daily application more than a 7k. yes the competitors want the larger amps but not everyones subs can take 7kw haha. same with 5k. but for people like me im gonna be runnin 2 3000ds per sub so a 7k would be more practical but id be happy with 5k's.

would u support a warranty on the 5000ds on 21 16v powermasters and a 260 amp alternator???? not going in a daily driver. just a show/bassrace vehicle.

nice van workin on my aerostar panel van myself gettin the rear windows welded up with sheet metal and all the rust spots fixed as we speak. killer van. im wanting to bag mine but i dunno how easy these vans are to drop?

Alright well my unit readiness nco gave me a call yesterday asking for volunteers to go to iraq and i decided i would go. So i volunteered. Probably another year deployment. My last deployment was 18 months in Afghanistan from MAR2005-OCT2006. So as long as i have internet you might see me on the forums but all my builds and van and what not is gonna be on a freeze for AWHILE. Its too bad cuz i just bought my amps and maxxlink. Not exactly sure when im leaving but could possibly be next week. Didnt give us much time to get things straight around the house and my power of attorney and all the stuff that needs to get done. Well i guess this is goodbye lol FOR NOW. but ill be back. Might have a suprise for Slamology this year while im gone.

im sure a few others are still wondering if u have any dates yet on when they could possibly be here and cleared customs? feb 2nd there is a comp in OH id love to go to if the amps are in by then. thx for the update.
