those are 2k in the pic not 2.5k. You are dropping voltage along alot rise. 2-2k strapped @ 2ohms (ea amp see 1 ohm)is should give over 4k. My 3k wired at .5 and with a rise over 3 ohm was clamped 2900. And when wired to .25 and a rise around 1.5 was clamped 3400. Thats with my voltage dropping aound 12.7-13 volts

Sundown amps are tested at real world spec. You will get 2500-2800 depending on your impedance rise and you voltage drop.

Should of went with the sundown. The Rf hates anything below 1 ohm. Yea I got pulled the trigger a 4500. but its for someone else that i'm doing a build for. i'm getting 2 2500 soon.

you should be fine. I ran mine off a yellow top and a kinetick 2400 for ayear before i got a second 2400

I got a Saz-1000 in the wife's car runinng a Nightshade 15" V1 @ .05 . She does really well in Streetspl 600-1200 watt class (141.7 center of dash on music). There are a few people running the Aq-1200 and they give her a hard time and we where wondering if it would be a worth the extra money to go to the Sax-1200. We want to keep her in that class so we can't go with anything bigger then 1200 watts. And being a Team Sundown Member I'm not willing to put any else in her car but Sundown. Has anyone clamped the power of the 1200? Is there a a head to head test of the two?

Has anyone tried the Sa-12 's in a 4 order bandpass ? What kind of number? I'm thinking of trying 3 in a 4 order. Can anyone design this type of setup?

Man if the amps turn on (radio & car off) means its a wiring problem. If it was a amp problem it wouldn't come on at all or it will be in protect. I'm with everyone else in that I think its a problem with your remote wire. Pull your head unit out and check the wires.

The gain on the master amp is a little over half way up, and with the gain knob it's a little below half way up. You think thats too high? I'm going to call you ina second. I had the same problem. Your amps are clipping out. Try starting a few clicks below the volume you start now and roll it up. My head unit goes up to 42 I start at 30 and roll to 38 then I roll the bass knob wide open

I've tried Mechman,Power master etc etc. The only one that make one for my car is Iarggi (sp) but with everything I hear how about them I rather not even buy from them. what i'm going to do is replace the ac compressor with a second alt. most likely a Mechman 1 wire 200-250 amp

Ok I have 1 3k and a 100.4. I have a yellow top under the hood and 2 Kinetik 2400 in the rear. The problem I have is there is no one that makes a alt for my car. I do plan on adding a second alt where the ac compressor but that going to happen at tax time. What I need to know is how many more 2400's I would need to run a 4500. Right now my voltage doesn't drop below 12.5 at full tilt on music. My stock alt is a 90 amp and does 14.5 cold and 13.9 hot. My batterys rest at 13.3. I hope this all the info needed to come up with a answer.
