What year is it and what options did you get with it?

I've seen stetsom amps turn off plenty of times from too much voltage. I wouldn't want to deal with that. They all had under 16 volts

I vote Quentin designs and produces a subwoofer with some kind of unique cooling like whats been said above... X 2

Pmureika, have you heard their pro audio stuff? Can you or anyone comment on how they performed?

Love their amps, started with the 1200 and am using the 2200 now. Haven't tried anything else of theirs tho.

I've ran into the same thing in Minnesota (im just east of Cloud) its a terrible place to try and audition speakers, makes me really rely on online information and the rare car audio shows like sound set.

You need some sort of processing to go active. I'd say go coaxial because of your little to no experience with speakers

What we are saying is that on paper and according to a software you could have a "perfect" box for what you want, but once its in your car those numbers mean little... Very little.

Half way through basic all trainees realize their drill instructors / TIs are comedians... Just a heads up to everyone going to basic.

And for someone using zcons..... You should have a little better handle on these things, those are not starter sub's.

WinISD. There are loads of calculators like RE but are not as accurate. But in the end its trial and error because we don't have any ideas what your tastes or restrictions are....
