You know I've honestly never considered the RF 3sixty.2 as an option for equalization but I think I'll look more into this im currently only going to run my components passive.

Sounds like a very nice plan. How will you be mounting the active setup in the front ? Mid bass in kick panels mid range in the doors and tweet in the door also ? I've always wanted to tinker with a nice active setup Jacob I think your a bad influence on my wallet. I would like to see some pics when you get all of it installed for sure.

I will miss my babies but they just took up to much room in the truck also they were literally tearing her apart. But that aside they were the most beautiful sounding woofers I've owned to date and I'll be back for more

The only issue I have with so much bass is my roof flex's like a stripper shaking her a$$ . lol I need to put a few layers of dynamat extreme on the roof asap.

Well I do have a 45degree angle in the rear of the box to move some of the air out but a horn shape would work better to move the air . It is as Flakko said she is downfire and I havent gotten metered yet tryign to find someone local with a TL.

In my install you wont see the port so a full paint job wasnt needed. Its a downfire box for the ext cab silverado.

Yea I did go a lil overboard on the front baffle but ahh well . I'm going to carpet it .

Ok guys here's a few pics I have of the current box I just got done wit hfor the mag's. 3.5 cubes after port and displacement tuned to 28hz On a side note this was built with a circular saw and a jig with the aid of a 3/8 dewalt drill. Next time I'll get ahold of my friend with a cabinent shop.

Thanks nick for the sweet subs I can't wait to hear them . The compliance someone said was soft but to me these are quite stiff . Time to build the box ! I'm waiting on some silly battery terminals to come in before i can run my electrical.

I own a Eclipse 8454 and very thoroughly considered the pioneer premier 860 and possibly a clarion . But if i could I'd liek to find a Alpine 9835R and give it a try.

There is no more prototype its been quite a while into production and the new versions are avalible.

I may be intrested If i can get my comps in fast enough to actually be able to notice a differnce but then again they could make a difference in factory speaker possibly.

Alright guys looks like I've givin into my personal moster and deicded to get 2 15's. Looks like imma be building a box 7 cubes after displacement and port tuned to 30hz .

Ok guys here's my situation I'm debatign between 2 12's or 2 15's D2's I have plenty of space and power and this is going in my 05 ext cab silverado which would you pick ? 2 12's or 2 15's My power on tap is a orion 2500D and i have about 10 cubes to toy with.

Yuo can get the Orion 1200D way cheaper like 300 shipped and its great amp . The rockford is a great amp aswell just to pricey .
