  1. Plexi and Bedliner? I like
  2. I'm not the best at interpreting graphs. Kind of surprised someone else hasn't chimed in by now. First thing I would do is make a port plug, and see how it sounds sealed. I'd plug it and test it for air leaks but give your ears a little to be unbiased from the ported box, and give it a listen.
  3. I know. Asking an entirely different question, not about the motor lol.
  4. Large sealed is my favorite sound on average, it's smoother and cleaner; but that's just with woofers I have used myself (meaning any woofer can produce good sound when treated right). I just have never had enough surface area to stay sealed and enjoy the output (SPL nut at heart)Ported gets nice and violent done right, but it is much harder to someone new to enclosure design. I'd say build a sealed box on the larger side of recommended and if you need more low, try stuffing it (about 1lb/cubic foot of polyfill). What kind of power will you be giving it? That will have a role in enclosure design. And, music, movies, or a blend?
  5. What about using that (Dyson fan style) airfoil technology to cool amps o.O
  6. Downfiring, have at least 1/2 the woofer diameter distance from the floor tuning, tune low for HT, 20-30hz would be a start aeroports are easier to use, but it's user preference really. I'd post more but i'm sick as shit, everything sucks x_X hope that helps a little
  7. Sometimes having the sub a little closer to the trunk lid helps with the 'impact'
  8. He's saying IB is a good first step. You can achieve excellent results, if done properly. don't worry about going all out on it yet, just one step at a time.
  9. Even drunk I can't name a single issue with Fi. My BTL has me hooked for life! Enjoy your SP4
  10. Man, all anyone is saying is run before you walk. It's your unwillingness to learn that's inhibiting things here.
  11. More pics of the sub out of box, and of the motor And please include your name in the pics.
  12. It was testing for the SP4 I believe.
  13. My shrink caused me to miss 235 days of high school, prescribed me some shit that had me hallucinating, and narcoleptic, too fucked up to tell anyone what's happening in my head. All because I sought help for depression. Needless to say, no help....
  14. I don't know how to I can't I what
  15. One deaf mofo too lol
  16. Does the Eclipse Ti basket work with the ufo motor?
  17. I don't think I've ever posted here, in the last six years I've been a member. Lol.
  18. If it's a universal gap, or a D2, i'm interested. I'd have to get it rebuilt to an 18, but still. I'm sure it's worth more, but my btl cost me 250 used. I'd bet a motor is worth AT LEAST 2-250.
  19. That's bullshit. They are an excellent way to waste money man! Lol. In my blazer I wired up a second set in the back and noticed nothing but additional voltage drop, and spottier midrange than I had already.
