Alarm System
Do you have maunal or power locks? Depending on which you have will depend on how you get keyless entry. If you have power locks, you're set no need to add anything except maybe 2 relays. If you dont have power locks, I'd suggest a pair of door lock actuators (1per door) as they have the ablity to lock and unlock the doors. Simple solenoids only work in one direction (Door poppers for example) Where I work we charge $75/door (CDN) and that includes the actuator and the relays. Hope this helps

Box design verification
Built the box. I beleive that the tuning is lower than we had calculated. Output is fantasic. I'm very impressed with the FI.SSD's output, clarity, and build quality. I'm looking forward to getting the BTL's for myself. TL results - 139.31dB @ 36hz, 138.53dB with music Not bad at all for a single 12 with only 600watts RMS to it.

fusing question
So lets say I have the potential to draw 700amps with my system, If I have 1 battery under the hood and 3 more in the trunk, a run of 3/0AWG wire front to back, how do I fuse it? Last time I checked the largest ANL fuse was 300AMP How do you guys with monster systems do it? other than multiple runs of power wire.

Alarm System
I like the Compustar personally. However Viper and Clifford offer up some great solutions. Definately get something with 2-way communication.

SAZ-3000D
Dual alt will never happen, I am not willing to loose the a/c (far too humid) H/O alt is going to be the most difficult piece of the puzzle. I drive a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV, and I have yet to find anyone that can do one for me. Any leads? Space isnt that much of an issue, I just deal with a small mom&pop shop that are helping me out with wire and kinetic batts @ cost (been dealing with them for years) so i cant really pass up the deal. You guys are awsome, I love how quickly everyone on this board is to answer my somewhat silly questions. but then again the only dumb question is that one thats not asked. On a side note, is the SAX-100.4 under rated as well? I like all my amps to match, just call me crazy

SAZ-3000D
so you'd suggest getting 2 SAZ-3000D and do it that way then? And will the electrical upgrades I have planned work out ok?

SAZ-3000D
How safe is it if I was to run pair of BTL15D2's @ 0.5ohm with music? I'm only able to buy one amp at the moment. I will be getting another as soon as I can, then I'll strap them @ 2ohm I dont know much about calculating imp. rise or anything like that, nor do I have the tools. This is honestly the largest system that I've ever done. thanks. I will be doing electrical as well support the planned power. H/O alt if and when I can find one 3 or 4 Kinetik hc2000

Box design verification
This box is for a 93 civic coupe. How does it sound? and does it loud? I'm thinking the lower tuning will improve the sq and get lower We currently have the sub in a 2ft^3 @ 36 hz, but he's wants something that fits a little better and uses the trunk better

Box design verification
sweet, so everything is good to go then? everything matches up to what I want? out of curiousity, why do i want the sub to be closer to the port opening on the front? does it have something to do with port loading? if it does, could someone point me in the right direction to understanding this phenomena? thanks

Box design verification
Something like this? I will also round off the edges of the port and 45's in all the corners

Box design verification
I have modeled up a box for a 12" Fi.SSD Now I'd just some of you box builders to just verify what I've done. And let me know if its good or not Here is a pic since they're worth 1000 words: Port and Sub displacement has been accounted for. Where would be the best location on the port side to place the sub? I dont quite understand port loading and such. Thanks in advance

Soft Parts / Recone kits
Would anyone happen to know where I'd be able to get soft parts/recone kits for 3 Soundstream Exact10's? I've had these fantastic subs for a few year, blown, figuring one day I'll get to use them again. So I am looking for either soft parts that'll fit or someone that could recone them from me thats local (Toronto, Canada) Thanks in advance.

Ok so I sent the funds via paypal. Forgot the coil config, emailed about it. but now I'm still waiting on some sort of communication from someone at Fi as the where abouts of my sub. My payment cleared may 1st and well ya I'm still waiting I know the guys are busy with the BTL release, but why knock the little guy I sent off an email to Nick this morning at 10:10:49 AM (EST) So hopefully this is resolved by the end of the week. Ideally I'd like to get this sorted over the phone. I've emailed my evening phone number to nick "@" ficaraudio.com (05:19:47 PM) As email isnt the easiest way to do it.

Questions about the H701
I have the IVA-D310 and the PXA-H701 Never had any issues at all with it, its flawless. No wait I take that back, the only thing I dont like about the combo I have is: Should I want to use the time alignment, I have to enter it manually. But with the RUX-701 controller, I can do it automatically with the supplied mic. If you dont what to get the screen or an Alpine deck you'll have to use the RUX-701 controller.

Really? No one can help me out? I want to place an order and pay for a sub and shipping. But I just cant do it off the website. Should I just email them or what?
-
big problem, no sound
check all of your connections, both inside and outside the box also, try testing the output on the amp with a known working speaker.

NEW BTL MAY 1st?
+1 I was about to order a pair of 15 BTL's and then I couldn't even see them on the site. No now I must wait another month, I had finally convinced the bank (aka wife) that I needed new subs.
