bass race is a rolling average, not peak hold, your score would be louder peak hold just so u dont feel left out

restoring force probably went down a little as well as accelerator factor, so imo it's possible to be louder with fresh subs in some situations. however I don't think it's anything siginificant especially for music. is it noticeably less punchy? how much power and which subs and what is the box like?

I'm in no rush for my recones, I just didn't want to leave cole hanging lol he's been checking in with me for a while and I didn't have anything to tell him and I wasn't sure if he was getting irritated lol. so, is there a problem with your email server or something? just wondering lol... if you EVER get less than 1,000 emails in one day, it's probably a sign something is fishy

I think something is wrong with his email server possibly or whatever dictates how one recieves mail.. I noticed on the hawaii forum some guy was asking about FI subs and said he's been emailing FI to buy some and hasn't been getting responses. maybe certain emails won't go through a blocker of some sort? derek you got my number if you need to call me, it's above if you don't still have it

wow, I got no emails in weeks, I knew something funny was going on. I'm the one who sent it in and wanted the pair of recones... so you did do the 12 spoke baskets? I though it'd be easier that way. I think I gave you my number in pm a while back just to limit the confusion... here it is again, 808 *** 2540 don't have to call if you don't want. as for coils, as long as they work I don't care if it's d3 or d6 lol I just want to get them running so I can get rid of them to have real subs BL or SSD probably since I don't have enough power to use a BTL to it's potential it's still up in the air at this point.

do you not know how to read? I said PLAY a 40hz note INSTEAD of sweep, as it seems that's where your peak is at.... don't know how you only read 40hz tone out of all of that... I might as well not type at all sometimes I swear. and I don't need to share jack ygpm back though lol I'd personally like to see more power than that on a sub of that caliber, BUT I can't really talk as I'm running a single pg x600.1 to a DD9510 lol. but hopefully you get some ideas from that box I linked you too. I have one idea I won't share with anyone and I'll just have to test it to see if it's loud... it will be expensive and a pita to build, but if it works out it may be loud... that one I won't share til I see if it works, its an idea that has yet to materialize and alot of spl guys have little things they try some work some don't. best advice I can give you is if you think you're ready for spl, get a TL of your own and build lots of boxes you'll be up to at least 10 boxes before you figure out the best one. and sometimes they go backwards and aren't as loud... IF You can handle building and tuning bandpasses there are ALOT of guys who're louder with them, BIG PITA to tune though and get right, you pretty much just gotta get lucky lol

not bad keep it up. there are a few things that I see needing improvment... playing a 40hz tone instead of a sweep is one of them lol. you're on a good start with ideas to a new box as well and power going up is also a plus. I'd do something more than 45 degree blocks but I won't tell you

see the vid in my sig, I could easily get a 12" Q louder and better sounding... wifes car, she actually just won a soundoff last week playing music she did a 141.6 out of her jetta trunk... she's running one 10" and a pg xenon x600.1 amp... she tied with the 3rd place guy in the higher class her class was 1-160 sqaure inches so obviously power isn't a concern and she was going against guys who maxed that class with a pair of 10"s and single 12"s... box is key, setup is important also, as well as amp/system tuning... I'd bet I could get an SSD 10" about that loud... with more power I was doing 145.2 on a single soloX 10" in my hatchback fyi that's loud I've got a few trophies all 1st place in spl so... take that for what it's worth...

I think he's got a kicker sponsorship... and those amps share the same board as an IA 20.1. and do alot of power and are close on a meter to a memphis 4kw.. and he's doing 150's new TL at like what? 25hz/30hz? so I don't think he needs advice from noobs on installs lol and I agree with all options, cooling, 3rd mag, hi xmax coil

their high end stuff is a recent development, the arsenal exad series is 06 and up exad that is, arsenal was around for a while, but the exads are nice, and my deck came out in 05...

I've seen the tests on termpro and they seemed pretty sick to me lol glad it was a typo

I'm doing 140@30hz from a trunk on a single 10" and pg 600... I'm sure your install will crack 140's... I'd like to see it closer to a 145 personally... but that's just me... external tube type port isn't needed if all you want is 140's lol... I use a slot port, double 3/4" mdf lol... so if I can do it, you have a hatch, I'd go for the 145 if I were you
