  1. Fi owns AA... So customer service goes to the same place. I.E. I called the support number off of Ascendant Audio's website, and lo and behold, Scott Atwell answers the phone. Customer service is the same for both companies.
  2. Sell me the sub. I'll pay for shipping. Don't just kill a sub w/o a purpose.. I mean what a waste... At least make some money off of it or give it to someone who'll use it.. just my .02 tho
  3. I have never laughed so loud at writing. Thank you sir.
  4. Yeah... guess I will have to. Got a TL. Just need the whole time part.

    whoooo
  6. Nathan summed it up, but that's what his sub did in a trunk. Here's what his sub did in his truck. 1) Recommended SubSonic Filter to be set at ~4 htz below tuning 2)4.0 @ 30htz. You can make it a little bigger if you want. 3)Def. get the BP.
  7. Ok so I have basic knowledge of rear/front waves and all that mess. My basic question is this: I have a subwoofer enclosure with the port firing to the side and the sub firing upward. Theoretically, which way should I "point" the port to get the loudest result? I can fire it in four different ways You can look at this vid to get a good idea of how much room it has etc. So to get the least amount of canceling or whatever, what do y'all think? I will probably test all four different ways on the TL, but I am just wondering what your theories are... Thanks! PS - pic is as though you were looking down on the car. The red square is the TL mic.
  8. It ate your hat! Lol. Nice man. Those little guys move some damn air.
  9. Told you to get deadener (I'm ghettopeterpan from YouTube) I promise you that unless you have unlimited cash, you will not need 3 of those alternators. I mean if you can afford it great, but if you don't want to spend the extra money, you won't need it. Getting 155 is hard, and you will have to do a lot of things right to get it...
  10. He doesn't sound too intelligent. "How could they fail when being UNDERPOWERED" even though he was giving them RMS... Doesn't sound like it's the subs' problem...
  11. Don't know the build.... or how I remembered this... or why I have the pic...
  12. A BL and T1 would never compare. 600 RMS vs stock 1000 RMS... It is very hard to compare subs unless you have specific differences you want...
  13. LOL :bigclap:

Sounds like it's one D2 15! I love my Havoc. Great sub man; you won't be disappointed.

    Just finish a box for a Havoc 15"... 4.5 net tuned to 28 htz. I loooooove it. 40 x 21 x 15 inches. Approx.

    It's a 15. I love it! Get two D1's for a 1 ohm load on ur amp.
  17. OH shiz. 150 here u come
  18. Lol. Yeah our trunk lids/spoliers are the same. But with the port firing in the back to the side and the sub firing up, I'm destined to have that thing rattle like hell. Oh well haha. The only way I can get that much space w/ a 15... I guess I could try firing the port forward. Don't know how that would be. Yeah that sounds real nice for you. I envy that
  19. Lol. I wish I could get rid of it. Any advice on that damn trunk lid? Mine's filled w/ exp. foam, and 5 damn layers of deadener. Yet it still moves around like a biatch. Yeah that'd be real nice to have everything not moving around. Got a question for you. Was getting your front door panels off an absolute nightmare? It took me forevvvvvvvvver to get the front ones off! Oh and I love the sub facing up on the back seat!!! I've had to do that before a few times. Gotta have bass.
  20. Q's and BTL's are very different.... what are you looking for?
  21. It's nothing special... I'm only 17 so I can only afford so much... Nothing impressive. Base GP w/ Sport Package and 30% tint... I'll take some more pics of the actual system itself this weekend. My Videos
  22. I already posted this, but it will just disappear into the oblivion in the Fi forum, and people will actually use it hear. Old info... new post... Just made a topic so you don't have to scroll through pages to find it... Ok first things first. The test was done in my car with my equipment (in signature). The box is 4.2 cubic feet net tuned to 34 hz with 57.25 in^2 of port area. Subs: 15" Havoc and 15" Q with BP option (both have embedded tinsels) Yummy pics: Here are TermLab results... Outlaw style (at the kick, both windows open) Q: Havoc: Legal (sealed up at the dash) Q: Havoc: Listening experience: To tell you the truth, unless you are a freaking machine, I doubt you would be able to tell the difference between these two drivers under the exact same circumstances. Now everything I am saying is dealing with ported enclosures; I have done no testing nor have I heard either sub sealed. I listened to everything from Nothing Left by As I Lay Dying with some sick kickdrum bass to the lows of Put On by Young Jeezy and almost no difference could be heard. The primary difference between the two is volume. You might not be able to hear much of a difference, but you can feel it. If you compare my door moving in 10 G's by Killer Mike in the two vids, it moved WAY more with the Havoc than with the Q. Definitely noticeable. The Havoc itself also seemed to move more, but that might have just been an impression. The Havoc also peaked out a little bit lower. It might be hard to see in the photos, but the Havoc got the loudest on the 33 and 32 hz tones while it was about 34 for the Q. Odd considering the Fs of the Havoc is a little bit higher. For sound quality and sealed setups, I'm sure there is a difference that would make a difference, but for the daily pounder, I'd say the Havoc is the better choice if you can get your hands on it, but the Q will do everything you want it to and more. Vids: Guess Who's Back by Mike Jones Q: Havoc: 10 G's by Killer Mike Q: Havoc: My buddy's top score of the day. He hit this outlaw style with Prime Minister by Young Jeezy. (He peaks at about 43 hz or so) Fi Q 15 w/ BP on about 1000 wrms in 4.0 cubic feet tuned to 30 hz in a Chevy Colorado
  23. Oh... That's sad. I like that metal plate on it. Just looks good. I figured it was to cover up a port lol.
