crossfire subs with sundown amps?

i emailed both the AA and fi web sites with no response.

anyone atleast know the gap on the atlas?

i have an ascendant audio atlas 15 and a shocker sig 12 that i need recones for. who would i talk to to get recones for these subs?

I have a AA atlas 15 and was wondering if anyone could recone it to a 12? if so what would be the cost on everything, basket, cone, shipping? also would you just it a dvc sub or would it still have that odd smaller vc to change the qts?

rlp, ssa icon, si mag, aa havoc, fi q, just to name a few of the subs that can keep up with a w7 spl an sq wise.

you could try to add something to your box like a book or something make your box smaller cf which would allow the sub to handle more power mechnically. still though id just set everything with a dmm then turn it down slightly afterwards.

yep that wat i was gonna say or you could do a pair of 8's if you wanna keep the box small.

nice mids an tweets i love hertz audio. as for a sub might look into a soundsplinter rl-p there a great sub and would work with 1000wrms. also might look into a tc-1000 i think thats the sub thats 700wrms.

i was told that those specs are for slot port boxes an when using areo or pvc ports that you could cut the port area number in half an still be ok is that true? if not would 2 5inch pvc ports work?

im thinking about getting an xcon 15 but wanna see if i should use my old box or make a new one. old box is 3.4cf after displacement using 2 4inch pvc ports tuned to 30-31hz. would that be good enough for an xcon 15 or should i go bigger? amp will probally be a kicker kx1200.1 or something similar.

im trying to sell my 2 AA atlas 15's, i'd sell them to you for $250 Plus SH for both. that with a kicker kx600.1 would a very good setup and could be had for a total around $400. the atlas's are very good sq subs and can get loud if put in a good box. just an idea if your not interrested no biggie just throwing out an idea.

good points, the pros are pretty much less people in jail and more money for the government. cons people will complain saying how everyone is a pot head and is gonna be stoned all the time. honestly though i look at it this way how many people die each year from cigerretes or alcohol? a lot more than weed i know that yet.

ya id give silva the advanatage but i also gave alves the advantage too and we all know what happened their. GSP just has crazy take down skills and although silva can work from his back i don't think hell be able to get GSP in a submission or anything like that. i think the fight would go like this, they stand exchange for a little bit GSP takes silva down ground n pound for a little bit silva gets him his guard and the refs stands them up and it all starts again.

Yeah Silva vs Griffin should be interesting but unfortunately I think it has the potential to go really bad for Forrest. As far as Florian - Penn, I wouldn't have thought Florian stood a chance about 4 or so fights ago. Now though hes really improved and I think it will be an awesome fight. I still got to go with BJ though. We'll just have to see. ya the silva griffin fight should be interresting. silva is a great fighter and griffin is well ok at best imo. idk though silva is moving up is weight so that could be the only advantage for griffin i could see. i really wanna see a gsp vs silva i think that would be great. gsp is my favorite and IMHO the best pound for pound fighter in the world right now. i thik he would he would silva the fight of his life and beat him.

tuning below the fs of a sub just means you have a major spike in impedance rise. which really hurts cause you loose a lot of power. im think if i get theses subs ill just tune to 33hz im sure i won't loose that much low end if any. 2 10's will have a slight sd advantage over a single 15 and ill be running a lot more power from 400 to one 15 to 500each to 2 10's so im sure itl all work out. now for the port do you think a single 5inch pvc port would be enough or should i go with 2 4inch pvc ports?

ok its this weekend one of the most anticipated ufc events ever. so who do you think will win and why? Lesnar VS Mir outcome Lesnar tko 2nd round victory- lesnar is just so strong he pretty much dominates on the ground no matter who he faces. has decent stand up an counter submission. the only way mir will have a chance is if lesnar gets tired the first round and slips the second an gets caught in a submission. GSP vs Alves outcome GSP descsion victory- Honestly a tough fight to call. one side you have gsp a great wrestler on has great stand up but can submit you if you slip even a little. then you alves who has some crazy muy thai skills. i think itll come down to a stand up battled where IMO gsp has the advantage. Bisping vs Henderson outcome henderson KO 3rd round victory- Good matchup but i want bisping to get his ass handed to him honestly can't stand him way too cocky and honestly i don't think hes that good. Henderson has good ground skills good stand up overall good but not great in one pacticular area.

im sure therell be loud enough to the ear im just worried about low end shake your body bass. im used to an AA atlas 15 ported tuned to 30hz so switching to 10's makes me wonder although i know the box is more important than the size of the sub when it comes to how loud the sub plays. do cvx's like to be tuned higher? like 35hz or would 30hz work also.

anyone have any experience with kicker cvx 10's? if so how did they peroform? what box and what amp did you use? im wanting to know cause im trying to trade my brother for his 2 10's. he has them in prefab sealed boxes ran off some pioneer 500wrms amp and they get pretty loud but he has a trans am hatchback. im thinking of trying them in my trunk car with a 3cf ported box tuned to 32hz with my re12.1 for power so around 500wrms each. any opinions welcomed.

you should listen to it to see if you like it the way it is. the older xxx could handle more than 1600wrms an the apx doesn't need 5k to get moving. did you ask re how many an what type of spiders they used? they could have put more spiders on to increase mechnical power handling.
