recone question
Not so much that, it also has a lot to do with the OD of the coil... The fast majority of our coils will set on the top plate of other manufacturer's coil's... Aside knowing where that was built, i'm almost 100% positive we don't have a coil that will fit... Thanks -Nick

Bp power option only
You'd probably hear some noise...but at that level of loudness unless you have your head close to the sub you shouldn't hear it...

Total Cost for Repair?
Try to glue it with the windshield adhesive, if that doesn't work your only out a few bucks...instead of ~90 for a recone..

Ported Q 12's in a hatch
So long as you stay within our guidelines you should be in good shape. The larger box gets the more prone to low end response and 'boomier' it will tend to sound... Thanks -Nick

Total Cost for Repair?
Go get a tube of urethane based windshield adhesive.. Put a piece of tape on the back side of the surround, fill the hole up with the sealer... Much cheaper then paying for a whole recone Thanks -Nick
-
Box size vs # of subs
It's because they are all in a single chamber... If you divided them you'd get your response curve back...
-
re-cone question
yep...you'd have to send it in though... Thanks -Nick

Not a clue there buddy, you'll have to wait until Scott gets on here, I'll try to get in touch with him today but he generally tries to browse the forum on saturdays. We'll get it figured out. Thanks -Nick

anyway to tell if a BTL has the dialy option versus the spl option?
That's a fully loaded with the dual 2ohm gap, (so yes can fit any coil) if he bought it from Beau Boren...that's actually the motor that we used in the great 12 challenge. Thanks -Nick
-
Scott or Nick... Got a question.....
Yep you can send it in... 30 bucks to re-align it + shipping, of course with the usual scenario of put name address info etc etc in the box you ship it in. Thanks -Nick

Just ordered the BL 15's
Awesome, Thanks man! -Nick

ssd 15
If it is bridgeable at 4ohms then you need to get a dual 2ohm sub and wire the coils in series for a 4ohm load.

ssd 15
I think that amp is bridgeable at 4ohms...and by looking around a bit should do 900 watts or so... Might be a solid amp, i have no experience with it however. Thanks! -Nick

what does a 18" bl recone cost?
We've got a dual 2 flatwire that will fit that gap....so it'd be $95 Same basic coil, just a little different... Thanks -Nick
