~250-300 watts or so... Copper coil has more mass, and tames the motor down a fair bit, yielding better SQ... Flatwound coil puts more wire in the gap, more prone to peaking and being "louder" than the standard coil or the copper coil... Hope that helps Thanks! -Nick
  2. You should be ok, you are not going to be able to get stupid with the gains and volume knob for an extended period of time.... If you know what to look.listen for you'll be fine. Thanks -Nick

It would work yeah, but i highly suggest you look into getting a class D mono block amp... Or something that will do ~750-800 watts at 1, 2, or 4ohms. Thanks -Nick
  4. Ok generally speaking we can recone it. However we can only use our 12 spoke basket and recone it if it has the 6 holes in the top plate on 5" 137mm pattern. If the motor(s) do not have that then they have to be sent in and machined, but we can still build something up for them. Thanks -Nick
  5. Yep we've got parts that will work for it... What size recone are you wanting? Thanks! -Nick
  6. What you need to work is what Scott quoted you a price for.... Thanks -Nick
  7. 1000 watt rms rating means it can pretty much for the most part take 1000 watts all day every day...granted your not going to play it that much... The coils are dual 1ohm and dual 2ohm for the same purpose...you get the same wiring options out of them as a dual 4ohm coil (in parallel which is 2ohms) a Dual 1ohm coil in series is 2ohms as well. A dual 2ohm coil in series is 4ohms, and in parallel is 1ohm. So really we have all of the popular impedances covered with our coil choices, it's just a different way to take the approach. If you have more questions feel free to ask. Thanks -Nick
  8. The 1500d is a solid combo for the BL. Thanks -Nick
  9. I really can't comment because my view is somewhat biased... Others should chime in though... Thanks! -Nick
  10. The 20001bd would be fine on a pair of Q's....you shouldnt need the BP Power option, unless you just feel the need to get it. Thanks! -Nick

Nope... It also depends on what kind of motor it is if we can even recone it or not.... Thanks -Nick
  12. I think that we have a coil that will work in it... I'll check with Scott tomorrow if he doesn't say here otherwise first. Thanks -Nick
  13. Talked to him today...got there today. Thanks -Nick

w7 is a high end high dollar sub.... Honestly man i can't compare it...they have a completely different direction with their sub, than we do ours. Thanks -Nick
  15. I'm unsure of how the 3hp mounts to the basket, if it has the standard 6 holes like our 12 spoke baskets do then yeah i know we can build something up for them... If they attach like the lighting audio storm baskets then the motor would have to be sent in for machining to attach our basket to it.... Hopefully i'll find out tonight. Thanks -Nick

    Awesome man!

We still don't suggest sealing them...the response curve just isn't what we look for in our subs... The 15's do ok sealed in 2 cubic feet Thanks -Nick
  18. Efficiency really isn't hardly lost at all... The Universal options simply are a few thousandths larger on the top plate to accommodate both dual 2ohm and dual 1ohm coils... The daily option is needed for anything that is intended to play music at all. Which in your scenario would be best, the SPL gap is a little on the tight side for musical reproduction and it will wear the coil out over time. If you have any more questions feel free to ask... Thanks! -Nick
  19. The port is a little on the large side....what are you trying to tune it to? Thanks -Nick
  20. Gotta retune and test man...they are going to peak different than MT's will...
  21. Are you talking about the white van with the ssd's and the kicker amps in a pac man style box?
  22. Ok.. Take a 9 volt battery and 'pop' test the coils. Use the piece of speaker wire that is coming out to your amp from the sub and connect the - side to the - side of the battery, take the + side of the wire and 'pop' it on positive side of the battery. If it moves out the coils are in phase and it is wired right and works, which would mean you have an amp issue... If you get ahold of a DVOM the resistance should be .7 ohms per coil, or 1.4-1.5 ohms with the pair of coils in series. Let me know. Thanks! -Nick
