mechanical power handling...and things such as Fs and Vas.. single spider 18Q = home theater use with ~700-750 watts at most to get to full excursion IB. basic idea with car audio is to overbuild things because they tend to see more abuse then in a home or other atomosphere

BL will sound decent...but its not a sound quality champion if thats what you are looking for. It'l do fine daily driving with rap/rock in a ported enclosure.

Musically speaking the Q's would sound much better... But given you have a 9510 and seem to like it very much the BL's shouldn't be an issue with musical accuracy... I used to not be a huge fan of sealed boxes, but then again i was big into the spl stuff and sense then my musical tastes have changed... Tough call man, if you like the 9510 you should like the BL's ported fine.
so long as you calculated the volume right thats fine...
I'd do a single BL 15 personally.
