If I do my setup the way I'm thinkin, looks like I can only fit tens. Max diemensions is 34 w X 15 h, I'm pretty certain. I've got the rest of my truck bed in regards to length. I've got a few ideas.. Lemme explain this. First off, these are overhead view of how the box would be. There not to spec or anything, just some ideas. Its not the right diemensions or anythin.. just some ideas how I could fit a few 10s. Would fire into my window. The first one, top left, is a sealed box, kinda based on a clamshell on its side. second one has four subs, and a port in the middle. Bottom is just a ported box with two tens firing into the window (not sure if you could fit two tens and the port there, but.. ) I could also do three tens firing in the window sealed.. What you guys think? I'm not sure what to do for subs. Was looking at WoofersETC and Sonic Electionx. Been looking at Infinity Kappa 102.7s, other subs around that price range, especially if I use four, and have to ship them.. I still can get the two IXL-12.2.2s, and the 2500D, but I won't have enough dough to finish the stereo so whats the point.

so if I get a plate amp just make a box for it to sit in or something?

I don't know if the subs are 4 ohm or 8. My cousin told the shop what he was wanting to do, replace the stock woofers with these subs. I can't get them out right now, because the wires are really tight. But if I get a new box built, they'll be coming out. I would like something that takes up less space. Can you get a home sub amp that you don't need to mount into the box?

is there a better solution that having this big clunker on a shelf. I only use it to power the mids/tweeters and the two MTX Thunder Series 3K subs. Oh, the dustcaps on all the speakers (not woofers) are pushed in. One has a hole in the cone. So Might put new mids/tweets in it. But I would like to get a better solution to the reciever. I don't need cd or anything. Just need to use the 3.5mm to two RCA cable I have comin out the soundcard.

Well, at least I inquired about them, instead of running out and buying them. I won't be able to afford a 2 subs that are say $250 bucks, then $110 shipping each, then an amp + shipping, wood, wire, etc.

You should not be buying them because of what brand they are. Not a good idea. argh.. I'm not buying them, I was just inquiring because I'm considering all my options. If I was stateside I could afford some better subwoofers because there would be no shipping. But since I'm in northern Alberta, Canada, shipping tends to get expensive so I have to factor that into the budget.

It was like this when i got it. I got it all for free. It only does that high pitch thing when playing tones from any of the programs I have.. Do you think the speakers themselfs are damaged?

I have a Pioneer RX-560 home reciever, and speakers. Has MTX Thunder 3000 subs in it, thats it. right side is gone on the unit, only the left works. I was playing tones and it pops when I start stop the tones and a high pitch ringin out of the mids. I just use this thing to play music out of my computer, and I'm using 3.5mm to rca ran under my baseboard to the reciever and it is hooked into the aux. I'll have a video..

I've been kinda rethinking the whole larger setup that I had planned. Would a SAX-100.4 be suited to two AQ SD2.5-15s in a horn? AudioQue SD2.5 series The subs are D4. I'm still waiting on a shipping quote from AQ..

Would one component set keep up with my subs? I can't really find a place in the US that has cheap shipping to Canada. OCS is $24 per item I think plus brokerage and chit.. Parts express can ship USPS so I don't think it'd be so bad.

Well, honestly the cheaper the better, but if I have to spend a bit more, I will. But I also need more stuff, like wire, mdf, and probably other parts for my truck like clutch..
