  1. ROFL. I'm 6' 1"~, 276lbs, 15 years old hahaha..
  2. So in other words, he tested the amp to see if it put out rated power? Its a Autotek MX5000...
  3. What does clamping an amp mean? "my amp clamped at 2800watts at 2ohm 13.8 volts" does that mean he stuck it in one of these, and it put out better?
  4. Is there any online retailers that will ship to Canada? I've contacted Battery Direct in Edmonton, they suggested a blue or yellow top, but there prices seemed kinda expensive..
  5. They put the meter on a stand that is 6' from the vehicle and 4.5' off the ground and it takes a 30 second average. Thanks for the suggestion but i know airforces peaks at 41hz. It would be a great song if I peaked in that range. Would you be able to use something like Bass Mekaniks?
  6. Some cops are asses. It seems that male cops are nice to females and vice versa...but I've never met a gay cop. I've never seen a cop beat up a woman..
  7. I like that idea, in fact i was looking towards tech crew in school plays. Plus, idk if i heard correctly or not, but they are thinking of having a DJ at lunch more often. My buddy and his friend do that kinda stuff at our school. They do DJ'in for dances, and tech stuff, like hooking up projectors and things. Maybe you might enjoy something like that.
  8. lol thats typical for the "african americans "(no racism intended) at my school. i hate when ppl do that to chittty cars. not african americans...blacks. we are black, not african american. but yeah i hate chitty lift jobs too...but i love that color and the spokes. Yeah if it was a burgundy flake it would look really nice. I agree with the spring and brake upgrade though. I laugh at people in my town with hummers with lifts and big 22"+ tires and wheels... and stock brakes... thats asking for trouble.. theres more rolling mass for the brake to stop.
  9. Sundown SAZ woofer? or better yet SARZ or... nevermind. I take it you will be able to option out the sub, with different coils and stuff?
  10. Bucket Bass FTW!!! just....no. Also FYI, its Nitrous, or Nitrous Oxide. Nitro (Nitroglycerin) is a completely different forumla/chemical... and this has nothing to do with home audio.
  11. I've never owned one but I'd probably go with what M5 said. I would think its the same thing as putting a sub in a 5 gallon bucket (which I've seen done before)
  12. Your reffering to the subs that are in a tube that looks like a nitrous bottle?
  13. Well said. It took you all that time to write that and you still ain't got the mdf roof done... hahha j/p

I imported in the box Noobtasic14 did for me.. and redid it so it would show up correctly.. it was a bit rushed ..
  15. Haha, sorry man Are you still running the 12" RE SE's? Thought it was 24...

I got a bit bored waiting on my subs to show up... any day at all now... I did this in Autodesk 3D Studio Max. there is no back to it.. no basket no motor etc... I might make a box to stick it in. What you guys think? I did this DD/Sundown combo a long time ago.
  17. I'd do a wall with a walkthrough.. aka, cut the rear of your cab out and the front of the bed and camper shell and put a huge box in and cram it full of subs... but we ain't all rich, myself included.
  18. I said crew. You have a crew cab f150. I'm pretty sure the Crew Cab Extended cab didn't exist. reg cab http://www.dragtimes.com/images/5985-2005-...et-Colorado.jpg extended cab http://www.automedia.com/NewCarBuyersGuide...a1500_ext_1.jpg crew cab http://www.automedia.com/NewCarBuyersGuide...ewCab_ext_1.jpg You have a crew cab. I would honestly wall it, but that would mean you loosing your rear seats. But I'm sure you use them to drag your buddies around, like every other teenager.. except me.
  19. I was close. I hope your above post wasn't direct at me, but the guy stealth at the top of the page.
  20. But your contradict yourself. You said you did but you didn't.... when it comes down to it you still did play them at school...
  21. Haha if my truck was a crew, I'd be doing more than 4 speakers an amp head unit and a sub... alot more. but, you may not want alot of bass. I wouldn't let anybody from Short Circuit City, Mal-Wart or any other Big Box store touch my truck. My headunit in my old car was installed by my dads buddy, who is an air conditioning repair guy, all the wires were crimped together and heat shrinked. It was a real nice job he did. Mounted up the PAC door chime module (what a waste), tucked all the wires in... I did help a bit, I mostly watched and learned. The subs and amp were done at the local airport believe it or not, where I worked, and my father still works there (no hes not a pilot). We used basic tools, my buddy Ryan wired it all up, I ran the wires. It wasn't too complex, but you have to know what you were doing. I guess having electricians in the family helps too. I would suggest reading and observing... try to go to a local audio shop (not a box store) and observe... Don't jump in head first. And install it yourself, you'll be glad you did. Then you will have the confidence to tackle larger projects eventually...
  22. de de de, you didn't listen Honestly if I was his schools mgmt, I would ban it to. IF hes walking through the halls with that thing blasting, it interupts learning and causes distrubances and makes him a general nusiance to everybody. I could see it if he was walking in the woods, on a trail with this thing... or doing something simmilar.. lol @ walking in the woods. Yea well.. atleast he wouldnt be disturbing humans... we have hiking trails and stuff all around here.. but I live in the sticks.. maybe theres no woods in the city... ...I live in a city though.
