  1. That looks pretty cool! I am looking at doing down fire in my Burb to protect the woofer from all the gear we haul around when offroading.
  2. Glad you posted your build Adam! Like you, after following Jon and Cheezy, my build is tiny.lol - but I still put it out there.

The tech flex looks awesome...may have to look into doing that to mine...
  4. Cool build. Box looks great.
  5. All it takes is a few big showings at events- then coverage like JP's video...DSS is gonna blow up!
  6. Your box builds look awesome. Tuned in!

OK- You have a buil log on CA-F too right? Thought it looked familiar...\ Looking forward to the new box build.
  8. I love watching Sencheezy try to breath in these demos...reminds me of Eddie Murphy telling the cop to take short breaths, in the bank vault, on Harlem Nights.ROTF!
  9. nice!
  10. Ha! I just posted that in your build thread...he's looking a lil sqeaminsh by the end.
  11. Damn Cheezy, you are getting famous.LOL JP's vid of the IAK guys doin work. He is looking a lil sqeamish in the Explorer.LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mIWCtWPxkA
  12. Most brand new Alt whine a lil. the bearing and all have to wear in. But you shouldn't hear it with the hood closed- or from the drivers seat. It is impossible for us to 'guess' whether it is normal of not without hearing it in person.

I am a VW fan myself.(particularly TDI cars) I bought a 06 Jetta new, and then an 05 Passat used. Really liked them both. Nice Start!
  14. Intake arrived- installed. Also replaced the 93.5" belt with a 93" off a 07 chevy truck. That put the tensioner right back in the proper location. (Why the Avalanche uses a different accesory drive steup is beyond me.)
  15. Looks cool- Glad your dad is getting better.
  16. What they said!
  17. Looks like rocket boosters. i love it! Congrat on the Show hardware too.
  18. very good looking design. Looking forward to seeing it take shape.
  19. OK- change of plans. The fuses for the alternator are driving me mad.LOL They just look cheesy. Talked to Toolmaker- they are changing my order to a 4 fuse block. Gonna delay things for a bit- but I wasn't really going to utilize the block for a few weeks anyhow. I can still run wire without it. When I get it- Ill rewire the Alt through the 4 way fuse also.
  20. Should be getting my new intake tomorrow, and my toolmaker 2 fuse block by mid week next week. I'll be throwing the Intake tube on by Sat, so I can go get a shorter belt. When the TM Block gets here- I may start looking at getting the wire ran to inside the truck. If work is slow this weekend- may mount the front components. I am getting there slowly. Think I have the baffle figured out too- just have to translate it from idea to actual wood.lol
  21. a couple of them would be perfect. Wish they were not so dam expensive lol I know that's right.
  22. Well- I officially have a 2 battery setup. had to pick up a couple of fuses to go between the Alt and Battery...I wish I had thought it out better...I'd have ordered a 4 in 4out block from TM...but it is what it is...But it is all wired and fused in, and seemingly working fine. Talk about fast starting!LOL On a side note- i need a shorter serpintine belt, due to the smaller pulley on the alt. I also ordered an Airraid Jr intake tube, as the idler is rubbing on the factory intakes dongle. The shorter belt should remedy this- but I wanted the intake kit anyways.LOL Anohows- the pictures. Should have my 2 fuse block next week- at which time I'll move this one to the other side.
  23. That looks Awesome!
  24. I can't speak to your specific needs- But Quentin suggested to me to use 52" per sub for best results in my situation. But I am tuning very low for a flatter response curve. Best thing to do is PM Q with your goals, and he can help you out.
