  1. I forgot about the Lanzar Opti's. Good suggestion. Look at MMATS too...they have .5 stable amps. And like Jon said- batteries and prolly an alt would be a no brainer, if you plan to play this for any leangth of time. Gotta take in all the variables when you start getting over 2K Watts...
  2. wheres the pictures??
  3. But why cant he just wire .5 on just 1 amp? I was going to suggest a 20.1 at .5 ohms- Lots of people do it...BUT it is an 'at you own risk' kind of deal.
  4. Sandt38- that is awesome....
  5. 1500 w DP's or the new 2K watt version? ohm rating? This will help with the suggestions... Oh yeah- Welcome...
  6. Dang that sux Quentin- hope you feel better soon.
  7. What kind of Car? My dad does body work- and they remove and reinstall bags all the time.
  8. Damn Swift! Good time. You are within a tenth in the 1/8th on my TA...and it is highly modified on bigs and littles. Modern technology(and 150+ more ponies) is something else!
  9. Happy Slip Hunting Swift....I need to quit Car Audio Dreaming, and get the Trans rebuilt in the TA and hit the strip myself, since the weather is getting right for some good #'s
  10. never been so jeaslous of a Mercedes Seat.
  11. Man it is BEAutiful it Houma LA today...wish I was home...but gotta make this money. This IA black and blue sale is driving me mad...had a 40.1 and a 3.4 in my checkout cart yesterday and just couldn't click the button. Just not sure if I need(or want) 5K watts. could do a 20.1 and 2 18 Death Rows. My plan was a Cresendo 3500 and 1100.4(just love the look of the Nindo's) with 2 xcon 18's... Then Quentin is killing me with his Ethos sale...3 15's would love that 40.1. Decisions decisions...Gonna wait til black friday and see what SSA does. This is why I love this place....LOL
  12. I love how in the vids- the people are tripping out and you just sitting there like it's another day at the office. It is funny what he get 'used' to.
  13. I can't speak from direct experience...since the last JVC unit I had was a tape deck with a cd changer.....But i have always liked their head units. I always consider them...but somehow always end up buyin Pioneer.
  14. Thanks- wasn't trying to jack the thread.
  15. I have a question- i have noticed on quite a few setups(walled normally) I see the use of the 2x4's. I am sure this is due to strangth- but how do you seal it up?
  16. Cool man- tuned in! Actually considering a Caprice to SS clone for a daily driver...
  17. The IA's are sweet for the cost- but I must admit, I find mine lack the mid bass, that I have had out of other 6.5 sets(kicker and infinity are all I've had to compare to, both of which cost over 2x what the IA's cost.). Of coarse this could be vehicle related....
