  1. I too would like to know how much room the port needs from the nearest obstacle....
  2. I am thinking along these lines...haven't done the math- just a general sketch.
  3. never thought I'd say this- but the poly looks better than the cf in this case.
  4. eric is the 13x6 the area between the seat brackets? Is that centered in the 22.5 you have for width? I can start working something up, too... Also- a depth top and depth bottom....a wedge will get you some needed volume. Guys- would a sub forward/port up work well? OR we could use the 13x6 area for port and extend it forward pointing under the pass seat...I have some ideas...
  5. Like I said- I have a PA Anarchy in my Passat, amp works fine, though it is severely misrepresenting its power output- but I knew this. I am sure the kid could run a PA BB4000.1, which claims 1500w RMS, not CEA-2006 rated, so I question the 1500. A 4000.1 is 230 on ebay...good luck with that warranty- or spend 30 more dollars for a DB-r refurbed sundown 1200(underated)....I'd go sundown.
  6. Told you it was straight forward info here. Funny that the DD1 was brought up after our conversation the other day.
  7. Eric- glad you signed up. You're gonna love the z-con. I got to dial my xcon in a bit on the ride home last night...it continues to get better. That zcon is going to pound!
  8. Looks great...so much better- I was on their site last week...and was thinking they needed an upgrade. Seem that they/you were already on it.
  9. way to go eric! Welcome to the SSA club. I highly recommend making a irtro thread in the newbie section. This is a great straight shooting board, with tons a real good info.
  10. W140- sending you a PM...I may have a buyer for you.
  11. 7035 - First of many to come!
  12. I agree with the cost, how could you go wrong. Even made me look at the Shark amps.lol Can't wait to see it with some proper power.
  13. Bags are sweet- Always wanted to bag one. but never had the courage a to tackle the install. BTW the HD hood is for the NBS 99-07 body style - I don't remember a HD hood for the 88-98's.(just done a search for verification, only ons I saw were homemade). Truck looks great! got me really wanting to find another one.
  14. For 260 you can get a b-stock Sundown 1200 from db-r.....just saying- that is the way I would go.
  15. I didn't think 100 watts would move it that much. Cool. Bet the wait for the amp is killing you.lol
  16. NICE! Still running the audiopipe 3000? I am thinking Zcons for my next build....
  17. I like the battery solution...pretty slick IMO.
  18. Just a list or links would be cool....I plan to pull mine this week and putty sand and paint the enclosure, and reinstall.
  19. what you do mean?? Have to watch the vid...the lil sub he took out of his cumputers subwoofer.
  20. Love the video! Looks like something I would do. Bet it sounds better with the sundown.LOL
  21. LMAO- How right you are. We(me, my bro, and our best friend) had a community system back in the day(89-91). I had 2 12" gold label kicker C12's in a truck box, and my bro had a Pyramid PB600 that we'd throw in whatever vehicle we were taking out that night. My bro and our friend had 80's Buick Regals, and I had a F-100....that was the good ole days.LOL
