My First IA sub
As someone who has personal experience with the 187/LI/Death Row lines, the LI is impressive. A friend of mine has an LI 15 dual 4 in his Subaru on an Audiopipe APSM1500 at 2 ohm (900 watts give or take) in 3 cubes tuned to 31. It's very, very nice, good output, very musical, and digs just as deep as my Death Row 15. The only difference between mine and his is mine is a lot louder, but that's due to the power difference. You'll love the LI, I don't think there's a better sub in that price range.

Are emails backed up?
I sent an email in two weeks ago, and all I got was the standard automated response saying that you guys would be with me as soon as possible. Two weeks later, and I haven't heard a peep. What's going on? You guys are usually good about emails.

I'm not seeing much IA builds here
You'll love them. 75 watts per side rated power from an Alpine 3552. Sub is IA too, Death Row 15

What is the recommended cuft for a sealed 15" Flatlyne ?
Considering IA2 is an IA worker, I'd think he'd know what he was talking about

I Series Components (6.5") and Coaxials (6.5" and 6x9)
Ordered mine yesterday, can't wait to get them in, I'll have a review posted once I get them in and get some listening in.

Shallow Component Set
I'm going to go off a hunch here, but the MK II's aren't probably as shallow as the Sundown's.

IA 187? New version?
No 15"? I haven't seen a 15" in the I lineup.

15" LI Reg Cab box help
Yeah, I thought i would be a little on the small side even @ 6ft^3. I definitely don't mind going sealed... and as for spl, stepping up from 2-12s in the trunk of my town car to 2-15s directly behind me with an MRP M-1000 in a regular cab pickup...something tells me i'm not even ready for what my body is gonna be hit with... Yeah, 2 15's sealed with that power in a single cab is going to be a nice back massage. Kef

I Series Components (6.5") and Coaxials (6.5" and 6x9)
Pricing looks nice. I might just have to pick these up. Why not add more IA to the IA I already got? Kef

Ported box for a 12" 187
We get that he's asking a simple question, and he's not the most skilled in these things, but for God's sake, cut the guy some slack. For the 187 12" ported, I'd have him build it at 2.0 cubic feet, tuned to 30 hertz. Gives you plenty of low end, and will allow your sub to soak up a little bit more power than if you were to go larger. Don't let your "friend" feed you crap information. Kef

Really short video of my DR
Audiopipe AP10001D at 2 ohm, so like 700ish watts. I wish I could ship it back and get dual 2's instead of dual 1's. Kef

Really short video of my DR
I love mine, since I put the new amp in and the new head, it's a lot nicer. I still need to get some real power to my fronts though. Time alignment can only help so much Kef

Really short video of my DR
Like the title says: I promise to get a better/longer video in the very short future. The SD card wasn't in the camera, so I had less than 40 seconds of video. Kef

IA Recommended Enclosure Sizing
Uh, because it is not recommended.... If you want SQ that is what the Flatlyne is for It's not because of SQ, it's for the same reason the DR is ported only, it's because the sub isn't designed for sealed. Can it be used in a sealed enclosure, sure. It's against IA recommendations, and most likely will cause your warranty to be void. My DR is ported and still sounds wonderful. It's all in the enclosure. Kef

12 187 15's in a Plymouth Voyager
Maybe this is just me seeing it as a long hatch, as it sits, because the box is sub up/port back. Dunno. 133.6 at 6 feet away is not shabby in the slightest. Kef

12 187 15's in a Plymouth Voyager
Why should they be walled? I'm just curious here. What would he gain from going subs up/port back like it is now, to going to a wall? Kef

In as well. Can't wait to see what the future holds. Kef

strange sound
Below tuning output drops off very quickly. Overexcursion under tuning because of a lack of cone control is a big cause of death for ported subs. Sounds like a combo of the two. Give it a little bit more port and tune it lower. If your amp has a SSF on it, use it, that is what it is there for. Mine is at 25 hertz, tuning is 30. Works out well, and I still have output under 30 hertz without hurting anything. Kef

Incriminator Audio 187 Review
Edit: I removed it for my own sanity. Good luck with your woofer.
