you either need to double your cone area or get some more power then run the DC. no real difference with the straight dorp in.

you can ductape. use a type of sealant(i use this caulk stuff thats clear) and wipe it along the gasket.
well this is the formula for cone area between the 2. Four 12" = 452.39 Two 15" = 353.43 depending on right power/box design, you should notice a difference, but might not be major. thought about using birch to keep weight down also?

what "cost" are you tryin to stay under? yes 4 12s is more cone area, and less heat etc etc. but can be just as loud or same, if not done right. all install dependant

someone told me a pair of D3100s will hold up 5k fine. i got one coming, plan on buying a 2nd soon. 5k is plan also.

dont rely on hifonics cause its the cheapest solution. alot of great amps out there. anything from 2k-3k should be good enough. i advise 3k if you know what your doin.

that sucks they dont make alts for your car, ever ask about making brackets? ditch the cap, and add a second batt. get a new upfront batt first. always helps.
