Which way to position the box?
Isn't it better to have the subs facing the rear? You would get more dBs that way because its bouncing off the rear and coming forward. Thats just what I heard. Correct me if I am wrong. I also tried the firing the subs to the front but thought that every time people wanted to see my subs i couldn't show them from the trunk. Just my $0.02

sound deadening question
Yes I can tell that I spell something wrong when I get the little dotted red line, but MAYBE, this guy doesn't use Firefox. I just tried it out on Internet Explorer and it doesn't help you out with any misspelled words. Maybe you cant just assume he uses Firefox because its so popular, and instead help him out with a link to the Firefox website and point out that you can fix your misspelled words using it. We definitely went off topic on this thread.

sound deadening question
It wouldn't be if there weren't stupid posts. If I had full run of the forum, the rules would be different but first off not using grammar would get you warned the first time and banned the second. It is just rude to come into someones house and not spend the time to actually try to ask the question you want. I'd also require that each post started with a phrase like "I searched for xxxx, and xxx, and xxx but couldn't find an answer...." I'd also have a pretty much zero tolerance policy. Perhaps you don't realize how many threads some of us have to read. It is really deflating when crap like this happens and makes those of us who put in a lot of time waste time which sucks. I guess you could look at it that way. Some people are brought up differently then others. As you might of been growing up with formal and intelligent people, this guy may have been brought up by the "wrong group of people", which led him to typing and/or speaking how he does.

Interested in buying an alt!
Hey Scottie is it?, I am wondering if you could help me out here. I am in need of a new alternator before I start my project. I was wondering if I can get a quote for a 95 Honda Accord EX. Its a 2.2L 4cyl vtech engine. And I also heard I need bracket modification as well. Thanks in advance, Curt

Box help!
I don't want to completely redo the box, but cutting an inch and resizing the port will work? I guess i can give up a little airspace for this to work

Box help!
Its not that the trunk is in the way, its just to small to fit 17" in where I need to push it so I can set it in place. Inside the trunk it fits like a glove, but putting it in, is a bitch. Anyway is there any way I could sacrifice like an inch of depth to get the box to fit? Thanks, Curt

Box help!
Hey guys, I just finished my box. Was all excited, i did i dry build first. just screw it in before glueing. After I built the box I take it outside only to find it doesnt wanna go in my car. YES I did measure twice and cut once, but i failed to measure the clearing distance of my trunk to slide it in. Here is the plan I went by 4cuft. at 35Hz Is there any way I can sacrifice any depth when putting this in my car? Height: 17" Width: 39" Depth: 16.25" Thanks for the input and flaming, Curt

Indeed it is! And Nick or Scott? Couldn't you have some part in helping with this? As in, you call them to see where the package is and figure out what went wrong and to make sure it gets delivered to me sometime like this week or next week. I dunno, I just don't want to be waiting for months over a sub because no action was taken. And I think I'm switching to comcast email! Curt
