peerless 6.5" sls midbass
comepletely agree w/ you m5. But i should have said that i use to have problems with the 3inch on the dash. i'm working on a build log right now but basically i really didn't like staring at huge fugly pods on my dash.. could i have worked with the install to get it sounding better? sure, but i think im heading in a better direction now.

it would work if only jack liked tennis balls. If it's not a squeeky ball with little bumps all over it, he won't even run for it. One squeek though and he will knock down doors to get outside. my last dog would fetch golfs balls, makes for great short game practice

peerless 6.5" sls midbass
having the same issue with my fullrangers up on the dash (im running a peerless 3"). some stuff they sound good and then too in your face. i dont remember, maybe i missed it, but can you fit larger drivers in your door. if your willing to go with 2 6.5s per side i assume your willing to do some modification. how about an sls 8 or 10? (could save you some cash)

Welcome to the IHoP
i dont have time to redo my trunk again right now so no worries. my side project besides school right now is getting my front stage up to snuff before going back to the sub stage. ill give you guys a heads up for i put the mj18 up for sale (if i still decide to do sell). what i think will eventually happen is my car will die right as i get it sounding right and none of my shit will fit into whatever new car i get.. (mj18 and sls 8) im feeling you on the test man, i had my quantum mechanics test monday night... i got fucked, but so did everyone else in my class. we're dealing with a rookie professor who's trying to "prepare us for grad school" in probably the hardest class offered.. oh and my thermo test is monday

Bravox CS60CF Review
Certainly it's possible. But not everyone has the skill or desire to run an active setup. There are advantages and disadvantages to both active and passive. Active can provide worse results if not setup properly. The user has to determine which route best suits them based on their skill set, knowledge level and wants/needs. And really, going active isn't as cheap an option as it's made out to be after you factor in the cost of the necessary processing and additional amplifier channels, etc. With the added cost of processing, the additional channels required, and the drivers, an active setup would probably cost as much or more than the Bravox passive at full MSRP. But at these current blowout prices, even if someone were to buy them and toss the passives in the trash, they still only have $225 into all of the speakers and an average cost per driver of $56. That's pretty much in-line with the average active driver cost from the DIY market. Certainly it's possible to go cheaper, but results wouldn't be similar. sounds like an excellent deal then. reminds me of the hype surrounding the pg rsd's awhile back. these of course being more of a high end product

amen to that.. got it running on my pc as well. got it free too :woot: On a strong machine with just two drawings open, it will pull nearly a gig of ram. I have 8 gigs of ram any other computer is too slow for me they lag it too much... I understand the theory, but you won't ever use that much. Something else will bottle neck first unless all you do it use progs that store data in ram and don't process. Are you running 64 bit 7? Yeah I have 64 bit Win7...with much ram comes much processor power...AMD Quad Core 2.2 that must be an older model quad there. gona upgrade down the road? i have a phenom II x4 955 and its way overkill for most of what i use it for. as far as ram goes im using about 3.7 gig out of 8 right now but i have like 50 tabs open in google chrome rofl. no one really needs 8 gigs of ram though.. Ram headroom FTW....Go the computer like 2 years ago...don't really plan on upgrading... im sure its working well for you. an Athlon II x4 can be had for about 100 bucks and would make a for decent upgrade. amazing how much computers depreciate in value so quickly!

Please don't be another one of the idiots who put them in the stock housings which were never designed for them and blind the shit out of me while I'm driving just because they think it makes their car look cool. lol no i want to do this right if im going to do it at all. first step would be to get a pair of projectors? im either going to hit a junk yard with a friend or order online.. any advice as to what to look for? i believe some projectors are designed for halogen while others are for hid bulbs? heres an online option. internetz check this place out http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/ oddly enough I just got an email from them today. They revamped their forum. i have the same SN on there. just made a post in the noob section last night for info

Welcome to the IHoP
I always wanted too, but doing them right is expensive not looking to bad. found a practically pnp reflector for a 9006 lowbeam (fits the hole where the bulb is with very minimal modification and is held by a nut in the back basically). you can see from the pictures how it is held in place. so 120 for the reflectors isnt too horrible.. i could go a cheaper route but it would require more modification of the headlight (as far as i know anyways).. im still debating about that then all i need is a 9006 relay wiring harness and a h1 hid kit

Fi IB3
to add to that. from experience with ib myself. focus lots of time on the rear deck, plugging holes and deadening. maybe even get creative with some bracing.

Umm, lets see. My body was designed to eat meat. You should see how I react to a lack of protein... I tried to be a vegitarian and it was a nightmare. I spent a whole month vegan too. It cleaned me out, I felt refreshed when it was over, but I was constantly tired and it never went away. Here is what I know for a fact about nutrition. There are certain amino acids and fats that you cannot live without. Whole vegitarian foods can provide them, but it's tough to get enough. There is no such thing as an esential carbohydrate, and our bodies are designed to have a contingencey plan for lack of carbohydrates. prolonged lack of essential amino acids will kill, and definately makes people sick. You can see it everywhere in 3rd world countries. i know a professor at school, she's 50 and a vegetarian... qualified for the Boston marathon last year. pretty amazing IMO My colleague has run in the 50 and over class three times now and has placed 3, 4, 8 in the Boston...and he's also a vegetarian. makes me feel like a fat piece of shit when i see all these healthy people running around...

You can see it everywhere in 3rd world countries. i know a professor at school, she's 50 and a vegetarian... qualified for the Boston marathon last year. pretty amazing IMO I should have been more specific, it's possible to be a healthy veg head, but without using isolated protein sources like whey or soy/other veg sourced blends it would suck. Most americans need way more veg than they get. But to make a blanket statement that we should all go veg because it's better for the whole world is silly. Not only would it introduce new health concerns you would have to supplement the diet with whey or something else similar. If you use whey, you're still going to have to confine animals, and to isolate why you need more water more filtration, and I would guess enough energy via heat or electricity that the total energy/water impact would be similar to juest having a steak. i wasn't trying to prove you wrong or anything. considering its harder for a vegetarian to get certain nutrition from a diet and, on top of that, to compete well in a marathon is quite amazing.
