update just did little things today. Wednesday ill get the amps in and then ill figure out what im doing with the left over mat and finish the doors. gota get done by friday...

not much done i guess... felt like i did more baffles amp rack left over mat, i think ill have to do a 3rd layer on the doors trunk

im getting some ensolite around the end of January. ill go ahead and leave the factory stuff on for now and see how it works. ill upload some pick in afew mins aswell.

well no answer so ill keep asking. what process should i use to determine where to use my remaining raammat? more pics going up tomorrow and i do plan on finishing it up tomorrow night for the most part...

taking alittle break so im bumping for an answer to my door panel question. what would you guys suggest i do with the rest of my raammat?

stuff 2 layers so far both doors with 2 layers and this is what i have left i was wondering why i saw blood drops on the floor... didnt even feel it ------------ ok i got a question here is picture of my door panel... notice the factory deadening. what would u all do to it? let it go? take it off and put some mat on?

sorry about the quality of the pictures.... i think i got the color to match pretty good. i couldnt stick the trim piece on around the outside of my hu because of the dash trim panel. it doesnt look tobad in person. back seat torn out for the most part. i cant remove it completely... for some reason there is some kind of safety wire thing that hold one piece in there... rca's going down the side. i got smart and marked them... doors getting ready for some deadening new baffles. after looking at the doors some more i think i could get some 8s in there if they were about 4 or 4.5" deep. random pick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ check list -make the 2nd baffle -deaden the doors -new amp rack -wire it up i should be done this week... mostly done atleast haha

more progress today. im going back out now to attempt some need baffels for the 6.5s in the doors. factory location is a 5.25.... i have a few pics that will go up tonight. i promise

the slidtrak is very intuitive and easy to use. controll of my ipod is very simple. im not missing the knob at all. i havent gone into setting up active yet but i suspect its easy to do. i figured out how to change the color and other simple things without looking the the manual. no problem to report either. if you have any specific question please ask.

x2 i also hate the giant heads new drivers have now. anything over like 380cc looks like a waste to me

so far so good. damn good unit for the money.

when i hit my king cobra driver in the right spot, with enough speed (105+ mph club head speed) it will make my ears ring real nice. it has to do with the material because i havent had it happen with other drivers or irons. i havent hit any new drivers, i dont golf much since im out of high school, to damn expensive...

i just got the clarion with active.. i forget the model number, its like something something usb... anyways its a very nice unit but ive only had it in for 2 days and im not runnning active yet

i had the new hu hooked up for only a few hour and the factory ground seems ok. how ever i think i will still upgrade it after i get the amps and everything installed. i might have to get some ground wire... anyways today i ran the rca's and took down the old amp rack. i also adjusted the hu to get it to sit in the dash better. however i cant put the trim piece on. ill get good pic's with a real camera tomorrow. and i think ill start deadening the doors or work on the amp rack. i might have to save the amp rack till the weekend when my dad is off. he's good with the power tools and making straight cuts haha the way things are going i should be done by like Saturday at the latest. ``````````` starting a new side project aswell alittle idea using my old sony hu indoors

i got the hu wired up and everything today. tomorrow i plan on tearing everything down and running my rca's. im really loving this clarion. if first impression were important id say its deff a winner. i wish i could compare it to something other then a low level sony i had in before. the sliding controls are very nice.

x2 on the PG rsd's. very nice for the money. what i recommend is trying to take some mdf and making some rings to mount the speakers. i went from a factory 5.25" into a 6.5" with on 3/4" ring. if you look at the circle left in the door panel, you could cut along that line and attach the mdf ring to the door metal, ive seen people use no hardening clay to seal it up aswell. not sure if you factory grill could go back on but you could make one or buy one on parts express. there was a build log on here that try to find a link to. that should how you do the ring. all you need is a jig saw or router. im going to redo mine with the new router my dad got for xmas.

one is memory back up lead and the other is bus power lead... ill use the harness and run my own ground to the kick as suggested. thanks for the input.

my hu has 2 power wires aswell. one a 3 amp fuse and the other a 15 amp. bumb for help!
