sure id love to see some pics. my problem isn't depth. i took my stock 5.25 locations which was like a plastic pod/ tube extending from the door. i took .75" mdf and made an angled cut which allows me to install a 6.5 in woofer. the AA is 6.5" i believe? if u could take measurements, take a rough measurement at .75" below the mount. ill still buy them! ill just have to work something out. maybe an excuse to try some fiberglassing! what should i look for as far as tweets? budget oriented options are appreciated.

you can run anything active. i know but im looking to do my first active system around xmas and i was just verifying. i remember reading about awhile back. reviews were pretty good. i see some other people on the forum running mach 5's 6.5" woofer. how do these stack up?

how about kicker amps? check out ubid.com you can get them pretty cheap. 1000.1 under 200 i think.... some are refurbs. i got my kx250.2 off there for 75 there warrentys u can put on them too. id go the for the sundown if u got the money.

if the injury has inhibited your ability work like you did before the incident then id def take that into consideration when taking on the law suit. if i had 100k id pay off school. and put the resting into land or gold or something that. and spend alittle on the system of course. with ppl sueing corporations like walmart and mcdonalds and winning millions i guess you'll have to decide whats a fair amount. didn't some woman get a couple million from mcdonalds cause the coffee was hot and burnt her!? its a very tempting option...

haha ya but i wound need a new amp.... i really need one anyways but 2 would kick ass. <300rms per if i did it right now. think ill stick to the arsenal. maybe ill pick up a 750.1 or 1000.1 after i get the front stage active....

as far as the arsenal as a replacement goes i believe they are both completely different. im sure someone will get u some specs soon. maybe someone will answer my post aswell...

can u rebuild a 12" arsensal into a 18? i know your goin to ask why and the answer is why not. i got alittle money burning a hole in my pocket... doubt ill do it but i like to dream lol. obama an't got chit on me!

sorry for the hijack but what site would u recommend to get some decent but cheap 0 gauge for big three? i saw that ed sells the kits but i would need to add an inline fuse for that right? can u do it for about 35$?

so ive seen that ppl have been rebuilding sub to a different diameter and im wondering if i should consider it an option? right now i have a 12in AA arsenal running of 600rms, in a 2.2 cubes net, ported to 30hz and im pretty happy with but i was considering the possiblity of going to a 10 in a ported box or a 15 sealed because i think it would sound better.... is this just a waste of time? its 2 in the morning so maybe my heads not in the right place.... could i go 18" just for chits and giggles???? lol

i dont think im looking for all out sq... but i think a 15 sealled would have a balance of sq and spl that id like. then again im using a relatively cheap driver...

haha thought id get that response... wish i would have got a 15 arsensal... can u rebuild the 12 into a 15 with a recone and basket?...

ya i'm beginning to think that it might not be enough... i would like to try a 15 or 18 that i can run ib and see if i like it and if i dont i could then run it sealled... it would have to be a dvc 2ohm i dont consided the sub i have now to have great spl but maybe i dont quite understand how much spl i would lose ib... any idea's

i can do 12's like this guy did. rf ib install but i could build like a half box afew inches back from the opening of the ski way for 15's or an 18. im not going to modify the rear deck in anyway.

i was looking at my car's specs online and it says i have like 16.5 cubes in the trunk but your saying 4x the vas... 210liters times .0353 is about 7 cubic feet x 4 = 28 cubes. so i see what u mean. ok rain looks like its over so ill get some numbers

ohya i was wondering about that. how much can u run ib? i have a fairly large trunk, '00 olds intrigue. is it possible to do like 2 15s or 2 12s? ( edit: just realized u gave a formula so ill run the numbers) what are some others subs besides the mj18m that i could use? (smaller diameter) ill take some measurements when it stops raining.
