headphone output on the tablet sounds fine to me. output voltage seems pretty strong as well.

we've bought multiple lcd monitors and shit from the guy. my friend got a nice lenovo that just needed an hdd.

for a barrier I guess you would want to get about 1 lb / ft^2. density just helps with thickness.
