  1. sorry could have been more specific. I am going to go with an aero port tube precision port. what diameter port should i go with? thanks again
  2. how big of a port tube do i need for 2 cubes? thinking of tuning arround 30. thanks for your 2 cents
  3. woops I ment to add 10 inch woofer ya. With a 3 inch areo it gives me to long of a port then i can use for the box size. guess I will be sticking with a slot port. thanks anyways
  4. how small of a port tube can i get away with for a 1 cuft box? going to put a ssa dcon in it.
  5. how big of a flared port tube would be required for 2 cubes? thanks
  6. I want to make a new enclosure for my rl-p 15. i want to make it 3.5 cubes net tuned to 33 hurts. is one 6" port tube enough port area? how long should it be? i got 15.5 inches but i dont think thats correct. thanks
  7. kinda short on cash right now. I am going to give it a go with the enclosure. My last one for the icon 12 pounds and sounds great, so I think it should do. I need to take some vids of my system not clean looking yet but sounds good.
  8. I am going to Try out 2 Cubes tuned to 33 and give them all kinds of power, see what happens. Thanks for the input. I live in Oshawa Ontario Canada and not that many people here know what lows are really supposed to sound like. I just want to say thanks for a great product and great support. theres some dirty spammers on here dont know if you know
  9. ok i will try 1 cube per 10 out. now its just down to a tunning frequency. i have an icon 12 in my car right now tuned to 32 in a 2.25 cube enclosure that sounds pretty damn good think i might stay with the 32 hurts. the icon 12 is very power hungry from what i see. i want to try out my 10's and see if they get louder off the same power. the 12 sounds very good.
  10. well im just looking for the best enclosure for my application. any recommendations? may just go the pound that sound route as i live in Canada and that's where he is located.
  11. i have pair of dcon 10's. I want to make an enclosure for them and its recommended 1-1.25 cubes 28-33 hurts. what does the smaller size do? Would that mean more power handling? More punchyness? I have a us amps merlin md1 for power and plenty of juice for supply. also what does the tuning frequency effect. i listen to a broad array of music slipknot and mudvayne lamb of god to eletronic and rap. i know there is no perfict setup for all but what would you recommend? I have a 2005 civic sedan if that helps. thanks
  12. what enclosure size do you suggest for a icon 12 sealed off 1000 watts? i think i am going to go with 1.2 but do i add polyfill or no?
  13. id say it does a pretty good job of reaching the lows maybe ill just leave it, thanks for the info.
  14. so there is no way to tell how much to add? what should i start out with sealed is new to me, but sounds so good on everything.
  15. I made a 2.1 cu.ft. after displacement sealed enclosure for my rl-p 15 that I heard someone recommend. It does sound really good but I am unsure if i should have used polyfil as well and how much? thanks
  16. eg's back windows flex very very easily, which lets out spl.
  17. ive read the reveiw for the 15 and they said it was tight in a ported enclosure so would the 12 not be even tighter?
  18. woke up early and made an enclosure 2.25 cubes tuned to 32. just waiting for my e-check to clear then shipping of the icon 12.
  19. then i guess im willing to compromise
  20. sealed isnt really an option as output is desired aswell, 2.25 @ 32 sounds good
  21. forgot to mention i listen to stuff with a lot of lows like snoop and bass tracks, but that the same time i switch it up with korn slipknot mudvayne...the heavier stuff
  22. i have a 2005 civic 4 door. 1kw to play with and enough space for 4 cubes in the trunk. i just bought a icon 12 and want to make up an enclosure for it. i want it to be loud to the ears and still sound good and flat. what would you guys recommend?
  23. thanks for the clearity
  24. i was checking out some of the graphs ppl have come up with for their rl-p's in different enclosures. the bigger enclosures seem to have a greater impedance rise. so does that mean if u go with a 3 cube enclosure at like 32 hz with a smaller rise then say a 3.5 cube enclosure at 35 the woofer will be seeing more power throughout the entire frequency range? i always thought that larger enclosures ment deaper and louder bass? kinda new to most of this technical stuff. if anyone could help clear this up it would be greatly appreciated.
  25. im only pushing 1kw, never been safer, i was simply curious seens how a t2 can say it has 4 inches peak to peak yet it only has 19 mm of x-max. when someone asks me how much can that thing move i wouldnt mind being abl to state a figure. i live in canada and good quality audio to most ppl here is a w6 or a type r. thanks
