On the Sundown site he recommends using Powermaster that is true but i bet you can allready guess what i went with! POWERMASTER lol im getting 2 d3100 and a 1200 atm thats all i can afford but that should be ok right now to run my 2 saz 3000d's with a yellow top upfront and a 300amp alt i plan on having 4d3100 and the 1200 with the yellow top upfront when im 100% finished

It's highly unlikely it has anything to do with his alt. I'm assuming it's just that his alt may produce a higher voltage than others without modding anything. yea it might not be just with his alt lol but i know when i talked to dominick on the phone and told him i was still undeisided on kinetik or PM he was like ohhh no dont use kinetik at all we have nothing but probs with them get one of the powermaster xs batts so i was like ok lol im wating for my 300amp alt in the mail now orderd it monday

well i worked out something with what extra $$ i have i can get a powermaster d1200 and a d3100 for the back for the time being with a yellowtop upfront that should be ok till i get the other 3 d3100 right ?

i would still go with the btl over a JL tho much better imo the w7 is a nice speaker but not up to par with a btl just my 2 cent

yea i would have to say i second that opinion btl for spl all day long

okay revised question take one 18" btl w/ 2000 watts going into it and take 2 X 12w7's and run 2000 total watts ( 1000 watts into each) which is going to hit harder I already know that the sq would be better from the jl's. yea i think he wants to know what one would put out more db's 1 btl or 2 w7s

you should be using powermasters with that alt anyway i talked to dominick on the phone and he said that he has nothing but problems with the kinetik batts and his alts he told me to use powermaster wile running his alts that could be your prob

well i have been told a bunch of dif things either you can have a run for each cell stright from the front batt to each of the cells in the back or a run for each cell from the alt to each of the cells in the back or you can run one run from the front batt and link all the batts in the back together in parallel not sure what would be the best

k yea ill just strap them and wire the subs for 2ohms which means each amp sees 1 ohm right? and just run them with the gain about 10% till i get the batts

thats cool well my plan is to run 4 powermaster d3100 batts biggest one they make its rated for 3100 max amps 1 upfront and 3 in the back but like i said all i can possible afford atm is 1 d3100 it will prob take about another month or so to get the other 3 im going with powermaster cuz there a little cheeper rated for more current and dominick recomended them to use with his alts said he has nothing but problems with the kinetics but either or thats what i plan on doing so your saying with what i got now i should only run one of the amps till i get the other 3 batts

ok i need a little more help lol i just orderd my 2 18" BTL's loaded 2 3000D's a 300amp ireggi alt 4 kicker tweets and all the 0guage wiring ect to hook everything up but i spent all my cash and have nooo money for batts so the question is with the 300 amp alt should i just run 1 3000d with the subs intill i get the batts or should i strap the amps and run them at 4ohms so they are not pulling there full potential current im just trying to figure out a safe way to run the amps till i can get the extra batts i should beable to get just 1 d3100 in a few days but as of now i have no extra cash just droped bout 4500 on all the other stuff

there in the same chamber speparated by the port but both sides do connect so yeah its just one big box slot port in the middle of the 2 subs what would be the best way to wire them if i where to strap the amps and if straped i would need to wire the 2 for a 2ohm load correct? 1ohm per amp.

so i have another question ok here it go's. so im gonna be running 2 3000Ds to 2 Fi Btls would it be better to strap the amps together or run each amp unstraped 1 amp to each speaker sepretly?
