If you are looking for a pair of 15's that can take a beating for a budget, look into Alpine Type 15's. With the correct enclosure, you run about 3000 watts on a pair of them. We have ran 3000 watts to 1 of them for burps, but I do not recommend for daily use. You can pick them up on ebay all day long for about $250.00 a piece.

What year mustang? I have had really good luck doing 10's in Mustangs due to limited space. It gives you the ability to build a larger enclosure as well as use more port area. I would look @ the t3 tss-10's. They work in your budget and can goes a low as 1.5 cub ported using a single 4 inch aeroport. T3 Audio

Look @ the t3 ts-12 or tss12. The tss-12 should work for your application. We have done them 2 cube ported many times with great success. www.t3audio.com
