if the treble is too much as is, you prolly wouldnt want tweets. Honestly, since the first time I tried a set of components, I was sold. Particularly with a decent mid bass backing them up. You wouldnt believe how much music you're missing without a decent dedicated mid.

depends on the 8". not all 8"s play midbass well at all. alot of them are very subject to beaming issues. so.... which 8"s?

Kent~ you know what you're bro in law needs?? To lose ~80lb... I do believe that I still have my pretty A/C delete in the garage... You pull the box & fan and replace it with this NON-A/C box. If you pull the heater core, swap heater boxes & the compressor & line, you can shed ~80 lbs IIRC. 100lbs lost = 0.1 seconds supposedly in the 1/4
