It's not my product, so I'll share what I've seen mentioned pubicly... The original rl-i 8's were made up with mostly off the shelfs parts, with Mike's recipe. The revamped 8's will be made up entirely as Mike see's fit.... hence the delay. The buildhouse has to re-tool / develop custom tooling. The revamped 8's will be heartier with addtional suspension, however the thermal handling and such will remain the same. $0.02 -Nick

Nope, they only came out with an actual RTA mic in the last couple of months. They previously had a basic spectrum analyzer within the competition frequencies (20-100hz).
Yah, I know of no cheap yet good RTA... I shopped a few months ago for a local nut. Sorry amigo. A-Pillar tweets are generally too much.. I dont like kick panels eaither, I have size 14 feet. Door pods are the easiest other option... -OR- You could integrate them into the custom center console that You were thinking about :0 ...but that might bring the image too high up as well

No way. This thing here came in at 289 with cast iron everything. It's an original FoMoCo 302 vintage 1969. The guy said it was a Boss 302 motor, but any moron could plainly see it's not. I only paid $15 for it. Going to make a nice table out of it though. The intake and Autolite should make me some nice change on Ebay. I hope. I don't remember the least time I worked on an engine with a mechanical fuel pump and solid cam. Wait til you see the bearing, cam anc crank photos.
