  1. Get your tv calibrated, worth the money
  2. What kind of box do you have it in?
  3. +1, but right now don't think about a sub... Figure what your front stage is going to look like, and focus on the placements during install. Definitely go active, for time alignment and freq tuning
  4. I love my 9887, it might be a bit much for your budget, but if you look around you might be able to find a deal on it. It has active crossover option on it, so down the road if you ever plan on running your comps active, this would be the best bet.
  5. Nothing a little ca glue wouldn't fix
  6. oh im in long island.. hopign you were close so i could come check out the action.. oh well
  7. thanks i cant wait to get these done and hear what they sound like nice man where you located in ny?
  8. What SQ setup? So far all you have described is the sub which if the rest is done well isn't even really hardly necessary at all in an SQ setup. :bigclap:
  9. I love the ass on that woofer.. looks nice. Gj IA. Any videos of that beast in action?
  10. Nice photos, looks like a crazy time.
  11. If you go with AT&T and decide on a blackberry their IS NOT a mandatory data plan necessary, they might try to push it on you, but it's not needed.. I have a BB 8320 with Unlimited txt plan for +$20

Just get an o-scope to set your gains. And be worry free
  13. So rent and rip them, or rent and copy them
  14. I have so many don't know where to start.
  15. I love M5's responses. You are the man! lol
  16. Try here http://www.movie2b.com/
  17. As long as your electrical is strong, you shouldn't have a problem running it at 1 ohm if you want. When talking about bass frequencies you won't notice a difference.
  18. From what I know lower impedance does have more distortion, but I doubt you would hear it that much.. Sometimes people will notice a difference if they are running at 400 @ 4ohm and then they bump it up to 1000 @ 1 ohm which their electrical system might not be ready for, resulting in clipping the amp.
  19. "Your whole preface is fudgeED. You don't want an SQ sub setup at all, very, very, very far from it. If you do then you are ridiculously stupid in your amplifier choice as you won't need 10% of that power." I knew this was coming, but it is so true.
  20. Well whatever you go with ... sealed or ported you should check the manufacturers website on what size box they recommend. I will agree with you that building multiple sealed enclosures won't do much good.. But as for ported, a lot of people build many until they find the sound that THEY like.
  21. Wow wasn't expecting that....That sucks dude lol.. I guess its part of being 17
  22. Enjoy your stay at S-S-A!
  23. Nice nice what are you running it with? Kef
  24. "Jacob, dumb question, what exactly is a flux cap, I assume its different than regular caps... Running that with 16v bats in the bank, works on a 12v elect system? cuz I might just boost my saz-3000 to 16v then... " He explained it above, read the thread again
