Help with design for skar-ivx15v1
Here's the cut sheet skar provided and info i could come up with, my math may be incorrect but i think its right. (3.565 Cubes before displacement @ 34 Hz) skar came up with this.. Cut Sheet as below Bottom :28" x 20" Top : 28" x 20" Left : 19.25" x 16" Right : 18.5" x 16" Back : 28" x 16" Front : 23.75" x 16" Port 1 : 15" x 16" Port 2 : 8" x 16" I came up with. Its outside dims are 28"wide 17.5" tall 20" deep Ive came up with the port being 3.5" wide through-out its length 16" tall According to my math, the port center line is28.375 or 28 3/8 long. So i came up with 6264in or 3.625 cubic feet net chamber volume and 1589in or .92 cubic feet of port volume. Also just figured the enclosure at 13.24" port per foot.

Help with design for skar-ivx15v1
I got a cut sheet from skar audio, and i want to know others opinions on it. Ive tried to draw it up on paper to visualize, and ive done some calculations to help someone who knows how to use the info. Its for a friend so i don't wanna waste his cash on a shit design. Ok so he has a 97 Jeep grand cherokee. 90a alternator, I did the big 3 for him in some 4 gauge stinger pro i had laying around, and he had already bought a Rockford amp kit 4 gauge also...pretty nice wire. Ok the max dims are 36" wide, 36"deep and 30"tall, this leaves plenty space for the port to breath either up our back..The subwoofer is a skar audio ivx15 V1. Its a d2 coil. Here's spec off woofersetc.com I've heard specs may be incorrect with skar audio stuff but i honestly don't know, anyway... Fms : 24.6 Hz RES : 66.0 Ohms Re : 3.8 Ohms Qms : 4.67 Qes : 0.51 Qts : 0.46 Rms : 7.1 Kg/s Cms : 0.19 mm/NM ms : 215.9 grN ref : 0.53% Bl : 15.8 N/a SPL : 89.2 dB VAS : 186.9 L Rp : 30.9 Ohms Lp : 50.2 mH Cp : 1064.3 uF Le: 1.72 mH RMS: 300 watts Enclosure Suggestions:2.5 sealed with heavy poly-fill stuffing (F3 around 40 Hz)3.5 vented @ 35 Hz (F3 around 32 Hz) The amplifier..best i could find for him opinions welcome. Audio technix at400.1d, we going to set it at one ohm

infinity 6x9 +3 db switch
Ok, i definitely like it. Just wondering also, if their normally attenuated and turning it on brings them to normal? Or is there actually a boost?

infinity 6x9 +3 db switch
I have the discontinued infinity reference three way six by nines. There's a +3db switch on the tweeter housing, are they normally attenuated, or how does that work? i was thinking about turning the switch on, and i wasn't sure if it may cause any damage? I have them powered by a 2010 Rockford P400-4. Their nominal impedance is 2.67 ohms so i would think their getting decent power.
