  1. Just ordered the alpine and i know i can not use video with my iphone 5 like an older iphone but i had an idea tho im not sure if it will work. What if i get the lighning digital av adapter from apple (HDMI for mirroring onto your tv) and then I get a HDMI to RCA adaptor and hook that up to the video in, sounds like it would work what do you guys think.

  9. Really like that sub, should I go sealed or ported?
  10. Would love to, I have one in my car and I love it. I'm just unsure about how non-marine subs would handle water
  11. SSA woofer? Will it hold up on the boat?

Box will be going under the rear seat. The sub is a JL 10v3v3 Box will be about 1.33ft after sub displacement Tricky thing is I only have about 3 inches of height for the areo.(Rectangle box with wells on the bottom) The Rectangle part of the box will be W54.5-D13.5-H3 JL Recommends 32Hz 84.7 Slot Port Area

  20. Thats what I thought I just wanted to make sure. The amp is the Kenwood KAC-829 and the sub is the pioneer TS-SW1001S2 This is going under a bench seat in a Colorado so another sub is out of the question. Thanks for the quick replys
  21. My friend wants me to put these in his truck and I want to get everything out of them both. The sub is single 2 ohms 300 watts rms, and the amp is 300 watts bridged at 4 ohms and 150 wattsx2 at 2ohms. Is there some way i can wire it to get the 300 watts or is he going to have to deal with the 150 or get new equipment? Thanks
  22. I have a 200 amp alt from them. It died on me 13 months after I bought it ( 1 month out of warranty) They took care of me and fixed it for free anyway. Other then that both have been great.
  23. I also have had the 50.4 over heat on me a few times. Mine is bridged to 4 ohms pushing a set of components. I even have 2 computer fans pulling heat away from it.
  24. How do you keep your 50.4 from over heating? I have 2 fans and more airspace around it and still it over heats every now and then.
