  1. It looks great! I would just be worried about running them with people sitting back there...accidents may happen. Maybe investing in some grills will be wise.
  2. 4.7 cubes is wayy too big. Jacob recommends about 3 cubes. I'm running mine in 4 cubes which is doing just fine, but is probably too big.
  3. My 15" Nightshade gets dam loud off of 1500 rms. It would put up better numbers if I didn't have a trunk car.
  4. I'm not talking about the amp. I'm talking about the sub. My Nightshade's push terminals seem pretty small and it takes a lot of work to fit two sets of 12 gauge in one terminal when connecting in parallel with my D2 sub.
  5. I am using Stinger HPM 8 awg power wire for speaker wire. Did you have to trim the wire a little in order for it to fit in the push terminals on the sub?
  6. what size of speaker wire are you using?
  7. Would 4 cubes be good for two on a SAZ-1500D or would I need to go smaller with the box?
  8. How does it sound compared to the current Nightshade? I remember you saying that this should be peaky. With the lower motor force than anticipated, I'm guessing it sounds better than you initially thought?
  9. it accepts up to 1/0..but you aren't required to use that size wiring
  10. Ok, not bad but what about for MAP pricing??? Who pays MSRP?! Or are we going to have to wait til May 1st?
  11. How much does one of these bad boys cost?
  12. One SAZ-1000D per woofer will BANG! The Z-15's seem to be very efficient and will definitely be pounding with a SAZ-1000D per woofer....DO IT!

You may or you may not. To the ear, it wont sound as loud firing into the cabin, but it may or may not gain you on the mic. I'm louder in my civic trunk firing into the trunk. If I sealed it off and had it firing into the cabin, I would most likely be louder that way (SPL wise).

If you're looking for 150's....you might what to look into a pair of 15"s like stated earlier. Most likely not gona do it with a single 12 or pair of 10's on just 2000 watts.
  15. are you huh?
  16. If you don't mind me asking, how did you measure your impedence rise? I'm kind of interested to see where mine is at.
  17. Well since impendence rise never goes below 1.1 ohms, in actuality it should perform fine at that load; shouldn't it?

Why not get someone to build you a box then? It would be a good investment IMO if you're having troubles doing it yourself
  19. Do you have any pics of your setup?
  20. ^^^ That's exactly what you don't want to do. I have four 4" aeros for just my one 15" Nightshade and plug two for daily. I would say use three 6" aeros and plug one for daily.
  21. ^^^ is the 12" really that far off in efficiency from the 15"?
  22. lol ya..the Nightshade will suite your needs for LOUD SOUND QUALITY. I've heard the Revo is more of a SQ woofer?
  23. With these testings on the 15" Nightshade, is the Nightshade dual 2 ohms or dual 1 ohm?

They displace very little because of how thin the ports are compare to 3/4 mdf. http://www.psp-inc.com/ for info...but get them from partsexpress.com they're much cheaper from them.

You don't need any options with that power. They will still get plenty loud off of 600 watts per sub. I recommend that you port and use circle ports. You will save on a good amount of space vs a slot port.
