x2 iv done a swap with less power to icons then the l7s that were in my buddies truck and the icons blew it away

ya but you got to remeber alot dont just have money laying around.. not saying you do but it harder for younger kids.. especially like me i have a daughter and im only 17.. audio is hard at the moment

depends on the sub... you cant say going over the 12-16 rule will make every sub sound sloppy but it will with some and for others it wont be enough... but all in alll too much port area will result in bottoming out when played with too much power or under tunning and it will bottom out easier but it all depends on the sub

your deffinatly going to want a component set and running it active. i have never heard any but heard very great things about them Mach 5 Mlis they are a very good price here in the SSA shop Maybe a pair of Seas Tweets or something else im not to knowlegable on tweets paired up with Sundown power i think that will set you off for a front stage. from the looks of it your not looking for an all out sq machine because you would be spending alot of money lol as for sub stage a SSA dcon would pair up nice in my op.. maybe one twelve off decent power if tour looking for more go with the Icon i love the way they sound very musical sub and get plenty low

why would u be worried about a system when u dont have a job.... unless u have a nice amount of money saved to tap into

through an icon 12 ported in there i have done one in a tc sounds great and if you want louder you always have the options of upgrading the amp.. plus there low end is unreal if not a dcon will set it off nicely
