Heck no to the Bose, it sounds like junk as do all their systems.

Personally I set the gains by ear, not with a DMM. I turn up the music the absolute loudest it will ever go, and adjust the gain while looking, feeling, smelling, and hearing any sort of mechanical or thermal stress.

Second Skin is under new ownership, and from my understanding they will not be running any specials until that is all finished and they moved to their new location.

You you enjoy listening to your music outside your car? How bout you mount a bunch or marine speakers in your body panels, then you will be loud outside the car.

Normally if it's sewn in tinsel leads overexcursion snapped the tinsel leads, that can be attributed too large of an enclosure, too much power, and playing music too low. Or all three.

Don't forget room for displacement...
