  1. You don't know ears ringing till you listen to over 150 on music
  2. Every single vehicle is different, you just need to do testing to get it louder. No one starts off being loud you have to start somewhere.
  3. You expected it to fifty million times louder?
  4. It's not recommended for ported enclosures, that is why
  5. With my insurance, since it is not a permanent part of the vehicle, so your homeowners or renters insurance covers damage to those parts, but say you have a $499 sub that is trashed and a $500 deductible they're gonna tell you to screw off. It happened to me
  6. Be sure to fiberglass them into the wood as well. Sometimes they spin and then your in trouble.

I need more opinions about covering this: My options so far are, blue-grey swede, rattle can some Satin Black, or a darker vinyl. Any other possibilities?
  11. No, not true.
  12. While this is true, it also allows for EMI/RFI introduction. Such noise can sound like shit. That is why you see such high pre-out voltages, they actually lower the noise floor. Back in the day with 1/2 volt preouts we had tons of noise issues. That is why old timers swear you have to run the RCAs up the opposite side of the car as your power and remotes. I still cringe when I bundle my RCAs and power wires nowadays... but I know if I do that and have noise introduction I need to fix my ground... Prevents you from melting your terminals Good point, the rcas we have now, do they have better shielding then the old ones? I ran my rcas on the opposite side of power so I've never had any noise issues and can't say that moving it to the power side will/will not introduce any noise in my case. The shielding is a marketing gimmick.

  17. I thought those were ICON 10's Aaron?
  18. It's pointless to stack a bunch of ferrite together and expect huge motor force. That represents supreme misunderstanding of motor design
