So what all is included in the recone will that fix the rim of the sub as well? You'll have to pay a little extra for the basket to be replaced as well, if you go that route. Derrick's way will work as well.

I loved it, I did what I enjoy and made some money doing it. It's hard to work so hard on other peoples stuff, doing custom fabrication and such, then have them come back a few days later saying "I turned up the gain knob cause it made my bass louder, played half a song, and the bass went away."

Salary typically depends on your experience. I installed for a few years, you gain a lot of experience but the market isn't great in most places.

I'll bet a 10 in an optimal enclosure will outperform a 12 in a "bare min" enclosure. 99.9% of the time.
