I bet these are MUCH better http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx I can sense a bandwagon, first dd, now rf and I think they are not the only car audio companies to have earbuds.. Correct, Kicker makes several.

Or you bought a Maxxsonics product and realized it's a worthless fire hazard. Someone had to say it.

I bet these are MUCH better http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx I'd rather get BuDDs.
  6. Be sure you get permission form Scott before you do that.
  7. No, they don't require more power. They would have more cone area, motor force, heat dissipation. If you read that 83 ft. is optimal for one 18" why do you want to put two of them in 103 ft. Two 15's would outperform your 18" setup you have planned.
  8. It doesn't need 2,000 watts to "reach its fill potential" That's a moronic way of thinking. You sound like Steve Mea[)e why do you have steve's name in you mouth???? I got into an argument with him about BTL's, he said it NEEDS 2,000 watts to get loud. I said no.
  9. 2 15's in 10 cubes on 4K. I was recommending you find a way to get 2 15's, as they would most likely perform better than one, or even 2 18's in the space you have them in.
  10. i think he might be wondering if they are the same subs just re badged.. i dont believe they are at all. If that is his question, no they are not the same subwoofer. Scott as designed all the woofers differently, from the Mayhen to the Assassin, and the BTL to the SSD. They are all different.
  11. Well How would 250watts have no difference at all in sound? I know about how it takes ten times the the watts for double the output, but I would still think there would be a small difference? And would this 1500rms sundown sound better than my 1600rms hifonics? If that little of watts makes no difference then what is the point of upgrading? 1.No, it takes twice the power or cone area to increase volume by 3 decibels. 2.There will be NO audible difference in power, the only way to tell a difference would to meter it. 3.Must Maxxsonics is sub-par. 4.Your asking us about upgrading, not the other way around.
  12. With a proper electrical system the 1500D is very powerful: SAZ-1500D POWER TESTING - SSA Car Audio Forum
  13. The 1500D is very under rated, it will do closer to 1750. In my opinion a MUCH better choice than anything Maxxsonics makes.

  15. Fi and Ascendant Audio is the same company by the way, one is internet only the other is dealer only.
  16. Don't put 2,000 watts on it. 1500 is more than enough.
  17. Impressive
  18. Thanks for the heads up. Fixed.
  19. I would choose Sundown, but I'm biased, very biased
