  1. Why does everyone say that it is a sound q sub. I have one premier 12 that plays lower than any other sub that i have ever owned. They are very capable of high spl numbers. lets not forget the big brother to these subs does hold a world record. Both of those situation are dependent on enclosure.
  2. Silicone like he suggested is the only thing that can help besides a recone. When I was installing you ALWAYS put your finger over the drill bit in case it slipped. That's a newbie mistake.
  3. The loudest single subwoofer record is a 180.3, see if you can do better.
  4. You two are killin' me!
  5. Your an evil, evil man.
  6. I was thinking the same thing
  7. Don't you have an airleak with them overlapping like that?
  8. "Low tuned"?
  9. A few of those are on my computer now

  12. Fatmat is asphalt. According to their website, they released a product called Mega Mat in 2009 which they claim is their first butyl product. There is a lot of confusion because FatMat used to claim it was butyl when it wasn't. After a lengthy debate on one of the forums, the owner agreed to remove the word "butyl" from the site. Last time I checked, he was still using it on his eBay auctions. He also stated that asphalt was a superior vibration damper in many ways, but chose not to elaborate further. I've yet to see anyone selling a butyl product say it was asphalt I have no clue why someone voted your post down Don, I evened it out. I wouldn't buy anything from ED or Fatmat. Ever.
  13. If you want louder, or to add more power bypass the Q and get the BL or BTL. I have family in Eugene actually

    Almost 5:30 am...still not tired
  15. They come charged, it's a personal opinion if you want to charge them before you install them or not.
  16. One 1800 would be enough if you don't want to spend a lot, a second one will help you in the long run.
  17. To get louder don't cram a bunch of coax and components in your vehicle, get one GOOD set of components and mount them correctly, my front stage is louder than my bass. Check my signature.
  18. That's between 1 and 2 ohm, not 1.5 and 4. The Slash also does the same power at several different voltages.
  19. dam duran the qs and ss are over 300$ way past my budget,my car has 6x9 in front and 6x9 in back do u think i can get a good component set for the front and just throw 6x9 in the back?would that sound good? And run the bacg speakers off the deck and the front components on a good 2 channel amp? I was suggesting you get them used. I got mine for $125
  20. Double post, sorry.
  21. New or used? The QS ans SS series are the only components worth the money in my opinion.
