Don't question it, the woofer was too hot. That is directly linked to too much power (for too long).
  2. Go have a listen to some, buy whichever ones make you have to change your pants.
  3. You mean per woofer right? Yes...My Bad! You are forgiven...but next time!

An old school mod, not sure how that happened though. If you look at all his posts, there are rated with a plus one so it looks like he went through ranking himself or somebody else did (but I dont see why they would do that in one day). Those rankings add and delete from your supportive score when someone clicks on a + or -. Maybe I voted for John Econ!
  7. 6000, 8000, or 12,000, I'm not sure on the ballast yet.
  8. Yea 6K is a bit more than a splurge for me to at one time... Now piece by piece, I could surly see 6-10K on a home theater... A tad more if you throw in any work to the walls or much furniture... I've been parting together a small but hopefully decent HT over the last few years .. I've got Samsung 42" LCD Samsung DVD Player (waiting on the cost of Blueray discs to drop before I upgrade to BR) Yamaha RX-V3800 Receiver (have not even had the time to hook it up) Sony SRT-D1015 Receiver in use now, till I get the Yamy goin 2 Old Xboxes (networked, upstairs and down) and a WII Sony HiFi VHS (still use it every great once in awhile for some old skool Martial Arts Flicks... Also love to rip out teh walls in the basement (atleast a few) do some insulation/sound deadening and get ride of this old ass Panneling that looks like it could be from ""That 70's Show"... Your fucking killing me! You too asshole!
  10. I think you should do more research. If what you say is true can you mathematically prove it? Because I can mathematically disprove it.
  11. Nice Rob! Drew is buying me some lol
  12. I'm glad you guys updated that prototype to what you have pictured. =] It looks unreal. Pity it all goes in the box. Now for my signature question. Will this beast be available in a 22" =] Awesome work. YES 22's! 22's!! great ? so really not much advantage on the SQ side doesnt sound like much benefit noone cares to comment on that crossfire sub ????? how is the AA design different ? ya wtf wow Fi manufactures Crossfire's custom subs, the XS and XS=SPL series.
  13. ^ That stock alternator is GOING to fail.
  14. The first version 125.2 started out as a 100.2, but every amplifier consistently put out 25+ watts over rated. That may not seem like much, but considering that's 1/4 rated power it's very significant. I know you bought a 50.4, that was just an example.
  15. You want low end, why not get a subwoofer and a good front stage?
  16. It looks amazing Mark, I want to take a trip down south and meet some "idols" lol
  17. They will do more than rated with a proper electrical system backing it. Sweet. Now to convince the wife I need a new amp. On a side not, I am glad you are here today! I appreciate all your information. Chris Tell her not to think of it as another car audio piece of junk, it's an investment in the advancement of musical perfection. LOL! I have used that already. LOL! I think she is onto my game. I know how do make it work though. Timing is crucial. Tell her you'll give her multiple eargasms
  18. Any mainstream company has horrible customer service (some get back to you right away and then some give you the run around). You also have some that will take forever to get them replace (a year or better), so that is why most are stepping away from these guys and using non mainstream brands with customer service. I never dealt with them but giving you a heads up of what you might be in for. I also have never had experience with using the Audiopipe warranty, mine failed after the warranty.
  19. Like most audio companies, if you are lucky enough to purchase something that has a manufacturers warranty, you will receive a discount towards a new amplifier. Very few companies will not charge you for their services.
