  1. Your a fucktard if you want to put more than 1000 watts on a Q.

Wire it to 2 ohms. Oh and you don't need to make another thread asking the same thing.
  3. Just wire it to 2 ohms.
  4. There is no warranty coverage when less than 1 ohm. It is stable, and with a proper electrical isn't bad. But the lifespan of the amp is shortened and there is no significant gain going from 1 ohm to .5 ohms, efficiency drops greatly and current consumption greatly increases. It's not worth it.
  5. Are you always going to have your computer with you to adjust frequencies?
  6. Anywhere between 42 and 56 square inches will do you right. Rust remember it will change tuning, you you'll need to adjust the length accordingly.
  7. I second that.

    That's IT?!?!
  9. No along the long side. Oh thats what I originally said. I thought you were correcting me. So 2/amp then correct? One ontop one on bottom? Not on the top, on the side.
  10. No along the long side.
  11. Alright then i will leave it be with the 100.4. How many fans per amp? Just 1 or 1 for the top and 1 for the bottom of the amp? Put them on the sides, that's the sweet spot.
  12. I have to agree with the fact that subs in your trunk garuntees a ticket, but you can at least call him a traitor. but wait. What sub-lover would give another bumper a ticket? bull dude, bull. He's just bustin your nuts. I say, pay the ticket, crank it in the parking lot, and haul ass outta there. I have subwoofers in my trunk and I'm not paying a damn ticked just for having them. Were you playing it loud in a city? Or were you driving in the country?

  18. Much more than x-max is needed to compare anything.
  19. i dont think i can ues 5" tall port but i can do 4"x30"x21.5deep should be around 35hz or so and 8 cubes net will this be a good box That sounds good, I just checked the numbers, go for it.
  20. Why do you personally think x-max is so important in a sealed enclosure application?
  21. You'll want to make the port 5" x 24" x 30" long for your 120 sq inches and a tuning of 34 HZ.
  22. You should only have 2 sets of components and that would be plenty of output for you, when you start adding speakers you run into cancellation. You only need one set of properly positioned components in each side of the vehicle.
  23. so i can go with 8cubes after diss, and 120sqin of port do i keep it 21.5" deep or shorten it? thanks for the fast reply What are all the dimensions for your enclosure?
  24. Yeah buddy I doubt they would. OH maybe because sealed enclosures aren't made to be loud.
  25. Increase port area, about 120 sq. inches is the largest I would go though.
