  1. Yes the 100.4 can go active.
  2. No that's correct, but I don't see your problem, you don't like the sound?
  3. Not always. We don't need to get technical, he is wiring batteries together. What I said is true in this case.
  4. It's hard to understand your post, but are you saying you can make your windshield wipers bounce on the glass but they are barely moving and there isn't much output?
  5. Fuse size depends on wire gauge, you fuse to protect the wire. I would use a 300 amp.
  6. How do they have them wired?
  7. Do you mean run each at .5 ohm and strapped to 1 ohm? or run each at 1 ohm and strapped at 2 ohms?
  8. Stupid since 12ga will do. Twist caps are for solid core wire. True.... but at times we do things that work good and are reliable in our builds, even though they weren't intended by the manufacturer to do so.. that said i use the twist caps they come in handy and are easier to use especially if u have dd subs. You never, EVER use twist caps for stranded wire. They will come off and take half the wire with them with the smallest amount of pressure. I have cleaned up so many installs where dumb rednecks used twist caps for their head unit and wonder why it doesn't work!

Bump! Any ideas or thoughts ? Do some testing to find out what is best for your vehicle. Unless they have tested the same equipment in the same vehicle they don't have a valid opinion.

We are always happy to have a competitor on the site Welcome to SSA
  12. sorry about that...i thought that was the case but when i searched for components coaxials came up as components as welll...anyway i am trying to determine if i should just get coaxials or components...i plan to mount them in the stock mounting locations....would placing a component woofer in the stock door mounting location and placing tweeters in another location provide significantly better sq? Yes it does actually, aiming speakers on axis with your ears will significantly improve sound quality.
  13. Where's my sample at??
  14. What about a nightshade 12 with a sax2000d? If there was one maybe But a Nightshade on an SAZ-2000D would be okay, IF you know how to treat your equipment.
  15. Why are you talking about your HU when it's your electrical system, or lack of an electrical system that is causing all your problems?

You realize that this is a 6 year old thread right?
  18. T/S parameters Jake? Enclosure sizes? Let's see here Jacob, you have an E8" to go with the SAE amplifier series, now an X8" to go with the SAX amplifier series, will there be a badass Z8" to go with the SAZ series amps?
  19. That depends on if you get it upgraded by Jacob, and on how happy you get wit the volume and gain knob.
  20. He actually had 4 7000's. They are okay amps, if you can afford it go right ahead.
  21. Looks very professional Mark
