  1. I'm over in Idaho. Welcome to SSA!
  2. How much for just a motor?
  3. Kickers are great amps, the red indicates amps I would probably never, ever, ever put my hands on, let alone in my car.

It has now been one year since I joined on here. It's been a good one guys, and a pleasure to have met you all
  5. Nice lookin' gear you have!
  6. The looks caught me at first, then the feel It is very versatile. Good equalizer, three 5v. pre-outs, satellite radio ready, iPod ready, good crossovers. It's a bit on the expensive side though, which is why I don't have one (yet).
  7. Will 2000rms be enough for a fully loaded BTL 12" though? $425 is alittle tight.. Idk yet ill have to see if I get my bonus You don't "need" a certain amount of power to use it, you will be happy with the output. Ok thanks. Any other amps I could look into if I cant afford the Sundown? Kicker, and Rockford amps are really good. The Crunch GP-3000D Pro is okay.
  8. Pioneer Premier DEH-P800PRS

  10. Wow thanks for the quick reply. What amp would you recommend for the BTL 12" I cant afford a Sundown or anything. Im looking for under $400 for an amp. Only reason I picked the PA amp was the price and my buddy at work has the BAMF 4000 pushing 2 PA 15s pretty good. Thanks You could get a refurb Sundown SAZ-1500D for $339, or a new SAZ-2000D for $425. Both are phenomenal amps, they put out about 300 watts more than rated. The 2000D is a much better deal, and new.
  11. You have all the options right. But I wouldn't touch the PA amp with a 10 foot pole. For your port anywhere between 24 and 40 sq. in. of port area would work.
  12. I agree this thread is retarded
  13. No one can tell you that.
  14. Re-cones vary by sub. $120-40.
  15. Output wise, 12's. More cone area, power handling, and coil to dissipate heat.
  16. I love the work on the Batman car.
  17. Oh yeah I second that! 3800 watts RMS With the electrical system to support it of course.
  18. Adjust your amplifier settings the right way.
  19. If they burned it was likely caused by too much power.
  20. Pig tail wire? Do you mean the tinsel leads?
  21. He did, not that version though
  22. I know, they went from the 3 slug to the big one slug. Im talking about the magnet, which used to look like this: It is the work of Scott. Look familiar?
