No, actually I had an amazing day at school and work I don't think you realize how often people ask this question, saying they want loud sound quality; which doesn't exist.

No bigger boxes are louder, they raise efficiency, that means it takes less power to be just as loud.

I have seen W7's win SPL competitions. I have seen L7's win SQ competitions.

Okay guys, we have to give up this wet dream that you can have "LOUD SOUND QUALITY" you have no definition of either. What you guys want is loudness, every SQ driven person in their right mind knows that their sound quality setups aren't going to be in the SPL lanes. You guys need to stop thinking that you are going to hear a difference between these subwoofers because you wont, the substage is such minute part of a sound system that is it absurd to think you will notice a difference going from one non-SQ oriented subwoofer to another. STOP IT!

The coils can get extremely hot and still seem fine. Are you looking at the whole coil or just that you can see through the hole in the cone?

Why are on Earth are you going to buy both subwoofers? You listen to rap music, almost no rap will go below 33 Hz, where the Q would outperform the BL. You are looking for output and power handling, the Bl will deliver where the Q cannot keep up. With the Nine.1 you are already reaching the thermal limits of the Q where the BL will take that 1,200 watts and smack you in the face for being so damn ignorant. I hope it does cause you need it.

Now be careful there. I have some very pathetic work done at audio shops, but most work done my DIY'ers is much worse.
