Well...if you don't do it you are going to have to get used to the sound of your BTL's ripping your box to pieces. There will be no difference in sound. double baffeling and bracing to have an effect on sound from what i understand....... notr to the ear... but numbers.. when the box flexs the wood reverarates??? is that a word? i know its not spelled right if it is! and most deff you will blow boxes apart... Yeah bracing can make a whistling noise if it has sharp edges. P.S. John the word is reverberate

You don't need 1000+ watts on a Q. You will be surprised with the output. Another thing, please don't use a monoblock for anything other than subs and midbass, they aren't designed for it.

How much the signal to noise ratio is so critical on a monoblock...
