Also whats the name of the enclosure on this vid. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZhfN9Gxcz8 It is just a ported box, with a lot of port area. Ohh okay. is that good?? for what im trying to reach in db?? Yes. 12-16 sq. in. of vent per cubic foot is recommended.- Enclosure + Setup Help

Why not upgrade to 3500's? They would handle the power much better than the 2500's.- DP 12" in a Regular Cab Dodge
Which DD subs? And yeah, audio is starting to get big at my school but in reality theres only about a max of 20 kids with subs out of like 1500... Still seems like a lot though, you know? Wow, out of 1500 that go to my school I can only think of about 10 guys with sound systems. My friends and I stay on top of the game. Team DNA Audio FTW.- Welcome to the IHoP

Its very hard to hit 180db. you would strictly have to have spl subs not daily drivers and lots of power watts subs etc. the more db you have the harder and harder it is to gain more. i just hope i at least hit 157db. just like people say its gets harder. but depending on setup 158db is possible.why woud you want 180db not to mention that 180db Can Kill!!!! BTW:How much db is meade hitting with the 4 btls in the 01' tahoe??? anyone know?? I in no way said I would be anywhere close to 180 dB. I find it difficult for you to think I said I would. Who can say they hit 180+ dB officially? Not very many. Meade is "only" around 160, he is a low tuned daily driver. Not SPL.- ESX and ZED branded Zed amp pic's. Who has some clean ones?
I have no right to vote in your poll, but wow you have some nice amps.- SAZ-3000D @ .5Ω load daily
Run a 16V system and you should get around 5,000 watts at 1ohm.- SAZ-3000D @ .5Ω load daily
no? I was hoping to get anywhere b/t 4800-5500 out of it. I just said 3000w b/c the can handle that much. Notice I put around 3000w. That sounds better. We don't have to kill you now. Just make sure your electrical is ready for it.- My System
That $150 is for a "normal" box. But he should be able to do a box like you wanted for less than that other guy.- SAZ-3000D @ .5Ω load daily
It's okay John, lets just hope he knows now- SAZ-3000D @ .5Ω load daily
Unless you plan on running at at .5 ohms on 18 volts good luck with 6,000 watts. You don't double power when you divide ohms.- SAZ-3000D @ .5Ω load daily
Daily (it's in title lol) And why? Well the HDC3 alum. models can handle 3000wRMS. So I would like to put ~3000wRMS to each rather than 1500wRMS. why not 2 of them straped at 2 ohms.??? its over 6k. and you keep your warrenty.. and you have a better shot at match gain. Well, I guess b/c of money. what are you talking about?- Where do I....

Solid brass or copper. NOT steel. I've been using steel for a long time and had absolutely no troubles with it. No point in forking out money for brass / copper bolts. I know it will work, I just prefer to use brass. Because it is more conductive. - Enclosure + Setup Help
