It's a fine line, I have hands on experience with the SounDigital 16KD, it has two pairs of 1/0 inputs, and I've clamped it doing more than rated. -
That amp only does 20K at 18 volts, half that at 12 volts

High QTS is not mandatory for sealed, just recommended The Q is great for sealed or ported, if you wish to be able to switch enclosure styles, don't get High QTS
You guys are getting mixed up with terms, they will play the SAME frequencies, the only difference is the volume at which those frequencies are reproduced, that does not mean one size has "better low-end extension" than the other.
You do know you're ears have a freqeuncy response? >< And you're ear's roll off at a quite low freqeuncy, about 29-30 or higher or lower, depends on the person. So still if 25hz was louder, it could sound quietter then 6db's less on 50 hz. And most movies i watch, frequencies go below 20hz.(helicopter flying by...explosions...) You don't hear it because u don't have enough pressure at low freqs, or you're ears are not so good. You're ears roll off around 2 KHz. actually.

Slightly off topic but why would fosgate manufacturers build their amps with a predetermined subsonic filter? Back on topic- I would suggest two 12 inch SSDs for your particular case. They will sound great and get loud for under $400 which is what you want according to your first post. With the stock 160 amp alt and the big 3 you could quite possibly be alright as far as electrical. If not you could always add another battery or two for a couple hundred buckss. The SSDs would also be favorable if you have to purchase a new amplifier a nice 1500w amp could be sufficiently cheaper than a 2000w amp. That's a better question for Rockford Fosgate, the amps are set at 25 Hz.

Looks cool over there. And I said it before, my thoughts are only based on gut looks. Can it run full boogie at 1 ohm for lots of time ? It does great, he takes it to 1 ohm for burps, 16Kw+ on tap, needless to say he needs recones after a days worth of burps
