Which active HU to replace 80prs?
Thanks for the advice guys! Looks like I'll be keeping the 80prs for now, as the cons are definitely outweighing the pros. I really do like having full adjustability of the mids and tweets at my fingertip. Guess i'll just get one of those old ass full Sirius rigs

Help deciding on a woofer?
From your list I would also choose the Sundown 15. Not sure if you would go this route, but 2 12s would fit in the Malibu.

Which active HU to replace 80prs?
Well Crap! I figured this was going to be easy. Yes, the remote is awful! I can't ever get the thing to work in bright sunlight.

Which active HU to replace 80prs?
Hey guys, I'm currently running the 80prs, but I want to upgrade. I still can't get over how Pioneer could build such an excellent functioning HU, with such a shitty display! Which double din fully active HU would you recommend? I really don't know where to begin. I definitely want my SiriusXM back, and GPS would be nice. I would like to keep this under $800, if possible Thanks in advance! Jason

Thinking of switching sub setup..
Is this thread some sort of Halloween joke? The owner/designer gives valid advice. Take it and build it! End of story.

Ya man, I'd like you to hear the current setup with the 2 xcons, which is 140db. The 2 ethos 18s will be here very soon, which I'm hoping to hit 150.

It may be too late, as it looks like you have already screwed the baffles together, but if you screw them together from the inside, you won't show any screw holes. This creates a much cleaner look, especially if you are staining.

I can't believe no one has complimented you pretty kerfed enclosure. Very Nice! I see fun toys in the background too. Too bad they get a bath while you build What do you ride? FZ1 here.

First ported enclosure build advise and help
I had that same amp for years running 2 Type R12s. I was impressed how much output it had for such a small unit. If still available ofr October, you should look into a Ethos 15. They don't require a ton of box volume, relatively speaking.

Optima Red or Yellow Top for under hood
Another vote for the DIe Hard Platinums here. I have the 34 under the hood and 31 in trunk. As long as I'm on the highway around 2k rpm, my voltage never drops below 14.0 with a BC5500 running full tilt.
